Sending an offer via the Job Centric View
Table of Contents
If you are sending an offer letter to more than one candidate via the Job Centric View, then it is important to keep in mind the following Send Offer logic.
Send an offer to multiple candidates
When sending an offer letter to multiple candidates, the # Candidates amount will display instead of the candidate’s name in the left panel of the Offer Details drawer. In addition to that, the tokens in the offer will display as their key name if candidates do not share the same value for it.
When sending the offer, confirm that this should be sent to the number of candidates selected.
This status movement can only take place when all selected candidates have not been sent their Paradox Offer yet. A Cannot support this action with the selected candidates message will appear if one or more candidates have already been sent their offer.
Unable to Send Offer error
There are two ways that you will be notified that you are unable to send an offer:
- When the Send Offer action is grayed out in the Move to Status selector, this is due to the fact that one of the following occurred:
- One or more of the selected candidates have already been sent their Paradox Offer/Form. Offers/forms cannot be re-sent.
- The offer being sent is an external offer. External offers are not supported in this version.
- The candidates do not all have the same language saved on their Candidate Profile.
- An Unable to Send Offer error modal will display:
- When the offer contains sections targeted by Candidate Attributes and, thus, cannot be sent to candidates in bulk. In this scenario, offers will need to be sent individually.
- If there is one offer attached to this job and that offer has custom sections that are targeted by job attributes, and those job attributes values differ by selected candidates.
- Other Unable to Send Offer error modal reasons:
-
Modal Message: Unable to mass send this offer, because the selected candidates have offers that differ by the job's data. Please send each offer individually.
- Reason: This occurs when the Offer has custom sections targeted by job attributes, and the selected candidates have different job attribute values.
-
Modal Message: Unable to mass send this offer, because the selected candidates must share the same assigned location.
Please send each offer individually.
- Reason: This occurs when the location of the candidates are different (standard jobs only).
-
Modal Message: Unable to mass send this offer because some selected candidates have offers that require approval, while others do not. Please send each offer individually.
- Reason: This occurs when Offer Approvals is targeted by Job Attributes, and the selected candidates have different job attribute values.
-
Approvals for Integrated ATS Jobs-related error modals:
-
Modal Message: Unable to mass send this offer, because the selected candidates have different offer templates. Please send each offer individually.
- Reason: When the offer is targeted by job attributes in Journey Targeting, and the selected candidates have different job attribute values.
-
Modal Message: Unable to mass send this offer, because the selected candidates have offers that differ by the jobs data. Please send each offer individually.
- Reason: When the requisition is the same but any other job attributes are different.
-
Modal Message: Unable to mass send this offer, because the selected candidates must be either internal or external applicants. Please send each offer individually.
- Reason: When the requisition is the same but the job posting type is different by candidate.
-
Modal Message: Unable to mass send this offer, because the selected candidates have different offer templates. Please send each offer individually.
-
Modal Message: Unable to mass send this offer, because the selected candidates have offers that differ by the job's data. Please send each offer individually.
In addition to the above, if a user is in the Offer drawer and notices that some offers that can normally be selected from are greyed out, then this is because we disable the offers that have sections in it targeted by Job Attributes, and the selected candidates have different job attributes.
