Users can be granted manage (full access) or view (view access) permissions so that they can manage or view events, respectively, without being added to the event. The manage (full access) or view (view access) capabilities are granted via the Enable users to Manage All Hiring Events or Enable Users to Manage All Orientation Events child permission, respectively, in Roles and Permissions.

The Team section of an event is where you can add team members to the event. By default, the user who creates the event will automatically be added as the first team member.

After a user with full access to the Events permission will first create an event and then complete the Overview, Recurring Rules, and Jobs sections. They will then open the Team section, where they can complete the following steps:

    1. Click into the Add Event Team Members field and select from a list of all available employees. You also have the option of typing a team member's name into this field to find them faster.
    2. Click Add Team Members.
    3. The selected team members will then be added under your name. Update their selected Role, if applicable and available for editing. Available roles include:
      • Manager – Managers can engage with candidates during the event and can edit your event.
      • Ambassador – Ambassadors/facilitators can engage with candidates during the event, but they cannot edit your event. Selected employees will have this role by default.
        • Note: Users who have view access to the Events permission cannot have their roles updated.
    1. Click Next in the top right corner of the page. This will open the Schedule section. Learn more about this section here.
