Candidates communicate with your team through three primary communication channels: Email, SMS, and WhatsApp. The entry below outlines the current functionality and compliance for how the unsubscribe systems work in relation to email communications.

Email unsubscribe logic

Candidates have the option to unsubscribe from communications in one of two ways:

• The unsubscribe option in the footer of an email communication. This will open the Manage Preferences page where users can unsubscribe from a communication channel (SMS or Email) or multiple communication options (Campaigns, Job Alerts, and/or Talent Communities). 
• The unsubscribe from all option at the bottom of the Manage Preferences page, which will unsubscribe the candidate from all communications in the account, not just the communication options listed on this screen.

Once clicked, a modal will open where the candidate will confirm that they no longer want to receive any system communication from your account, even outside those listed as toggles in the Your preferences section.

Unsubscribe message from your AI Assistant

When a candidate unsubscribes from all communications from the Manage Preferences page, they will receive an automated email with a Message from Olivia subject. This email will include the below language and the option to resubscribe:

“Hi #candidate-name! I just unsubscribed you from receiving our emails. No worries :) If you'd like to receive emails from me again, just click the resubscribe button below. Thanks! Important: If you didn't initiate this change, please check your email account’s security.
