    Feature descriptions

    Features Description
Campus Events Builder The Events Builder is similar to the builder for campus events in that all sections will be the same except that the Campus toggle must be enabled in the Overview step and a new Event Planning step will be added and filled out with budget and expense details.
Campus Activity Campus activities can be used in the event planning process as supplemental reminders and tasks that need to be completed in association with an event. This allows recruiting teams to plan a campus initiative strategy for the fiscal year.
Lead Generation Events Lead Generation events are campus events that do not require candidates to apply for a job to register for an event. Essentially, these events serve as a way to create a candidate pool that has the option of signing up for a Talent Community.
Event Budget & Expenses Every campus event will include an Event Budget and Expenses section, where you will dictate items that will need to be purchased in order for the event to be successful. When the event is complete, the expenses need to be finalized from the event's Dashboard in order to track the planned vs. actual costs.
Approvals Builder The Approvals Builder allows you to create approval flows for campus events that are created. This will ensure that events are only created after they are reviewed and approved.
Career Fair Mode Career Fair Mode allows all campus event attendees to streamline the experience of capturing candidate details and scheduling candidates for follow-up interviews. This mode can only be opened via mobile web and Native Apps and is available for active in-person campus events.
Kiosk Mode Kiosk Mode efficiently allows event managers to capture candidate data without wifi by having candidates register themselves without a capture conversation. Kiosk Mode Templates should be created to define the color palette and overall design experience for candidates when they complete an Event Registration Form in Kiosk Mode. This can be opened on desktop, mobile web, and Native Apps.
Event Registration Forms Event Registration Forms include the questions that candidates are asked when registering for an event. These forms are then framed with a specific Kiosk Mode template when Kiosk Mode is launched.
Student / Candidate Evaluations Event attendees can use student evaluations to assess students during campus events or conferences and capture their first impressions, which can help them make informed decisions afterwards. This can be opened on mobile web and Native Apps.
    Event Settings

Event Settings can be opened by full or view access event users and include the following sections:

    • Event Templates (All event types)
    • Event Registration Forms (Campus only)
    • Kiosk Mode Templates (Campus only)
    • Custom Planning Fields (Campus only)
Offline Mode Offline mode allows event attendees to complete essential tasks without relying on wifi. This is supported on Native Apps only.
Campus Profiles Campus profiles help you organize all of your campuses. You can add school profiles where Campus Events will be held and organize areas. From these profiles, you can assign users who will be able to view candidates tied to this school’s events and enable Approval Flows for that school’s events.

    Product limitations

    • This solution does not support the following products/features in some or all capacities:
      • Referrals
      • Generative Q&A (Event Candidate Q&A is not currently supported)
      • Employee Management
      • Career Sites (dynamically post events to your site (coming soon for Paradox career sites!))
      • Browser Extension
    • Accuracy of all user-facing event and campus features, especially language translations.
    • We are not able to track the sourcing of applications. For example, if you meet a student at one event and have them apply to a job, then the system will not track that the student was sourced from this event automatically.
    • There is not a full end-to-end ROI tracking of events/campuses.
      • It’s difficult for us to track when a candidate applies for a job after attending an event.
    • Virtual Event Interviews are only supported by Zoom, MS Teams, Webex, and Paradox Video.
      • The video provider for event interviews matches the video provider of traditional interviews. The platform does not support two different video providers.

    Campus Solution configuration and use

Follow these steps to design and implement the client’s campus solution.

Step #1: Build approval flows (optional)

If your client is utilizing approval flows for campus events, then ensure to set up approval flows as needed and assign them to their corresponding schools. Click here to learn more.

Step #2: Set up campus profiles

Add all of the schools/campuses where your client will host events. Click here to learn how to add the necessary school profiles.

Step #3: Create student evaluations (recommended, optional)

If you are utilizing student evaluations, then you will need to create student evaluations that your team members can use to evaluate students/candidates during a campus event. Click here to learn more.

    Step #4: Create the pre-event & on-site registration conversations

Build your pre-event and on-site registration conversations that will be used in your Campus Events. Learn how to build Hiring Event Conversations here.

Step #5: Add Kiosk Mode templates and event registration forms (recommended, optional)

If you are going to use Kiosk Mode, where students/candidates must register for an event offline, then you will need to design the Kiosk Mode experience and create the event registration forms that candidates/students will complete when registering for the event. Learn more about Kiosk Mode and Event Registration Forms here.

    Step #6: Create pre-event & on-site phone numbers

Your CS Representative will configure the pre-event and on-site phone numbers and keywords for you.

Step #7: Create custom event planning fields

You can create custom event planning fields that can be available within the default campus event creation process or be tied to specific event templates. Creating these fields and templates in advance makes the campus event creation process more efficient and consistent every time. Learn more about creating custom event planning fields here.

IMPORTANT NOTES: It is strongly recommended that all answer options for all questions are list select Custom Candidate Attributes, with the expectation for free-entry questions that will not require future tracking, filtering, and complex reporting needs.

Step #8: Add custom event planning fields to event templates

Learn more about how to add custom event planning fields to an event template here.

Step #9: Create a campus event

Create a campus event based on an event template or from scratch within the Events Builder. Reference this Campus Events Builder documentation to get you started. If you want to create a campus event without interviews and to generate leads, create a Lead Generation event.

    • Note: For efficiency purposes, you may want to build event templates and then create events based on those templates. Click here to learn more.

Step #10: Host/attend the campus event

If the event is in person, then ensure to check students/candidates in; register candidates, schedule interviews, and add candidate information via Career Fair Mode; have candidates register themselves for an event in Kiosk Mode or via keyword; and complete Student Evaluations, as needed.

Step #11: Finalize event budget and expenses

Once the event is complete, add in your actual event costs and finalize your expenses. Follow the process outlined here.
