Event Template Builder Add a custom event planning field Event Builder (without event template) Budget and Expenses Engagement Goal Engagement goal Scheduled interview goal

Events with the Campus toggle enabled will have the Event Planning section included in the Event Builder. If an event template was used to create the event, then additional planning fields may display.

    Event Template Builder

Within the Event Planning section of the event, you can complete an event budget and expenses report by adding budget line items. To do this, follow the steps below.

    1. Add a new line, if needed, by clicking either the plus icon or the + Add Planning Field for your first entry and then clicking one of the following planning fields:
      • Anticipated Date
      • Budget and Expenses
      • Engagement Goal
      • Custom Field (process described below)
      • Scheduled Interview Goal
    2. Add in the line item name and the planned cost for the item.
      • Note: After the event is created, the user will have the ability to edit the planned cost and add the actual cost before the event expenses are submitted.
    3. The Budget & Expenses planning field will be required by default while all other fields will be defaulted as optional. Toggle on/off the Question Required setting depending on what event managers and ambassadors should complete when creating a campus event.

    4. Repeat steps #1-3 for each necessary planning field.

Add a custom event planning field

When adding a custom event planning field, a slide-out drawer will open. Update the field details described below.

    1. Field Name – The name of the field.
    2. Help Text – A description of this field that will live in a tooltip next to the Field Name for reference.
    3. Event Attribute – The Event Attribute tied to this field, if applicable. When an attribute is selected, then its type will change from list select to open-ended.
      • Note: You can remove the selected attribute by clicking the Remove Attribute button next to it. If a list select attribute is selected, then the list select options will override and replace anything previously configured for the question.
    4. Answer Type – The format of this field’s answer. Options include:
      • Open Ended
        • Notes:
          • This will be automatically disabled from selection when a list select attribute is selected.
          • Open-ended custom fields will include a text editor.

        • Single Selection
        • Multi-Selection
          • Notes:
            • If only one response is configured, it cannot be deleted.
            • If 50-1000+ items are entered for multi-selection, then pagination will display below these options for a better user experience.

      • Dropdown
        • Single Selection
        • Multi-Selection
          • Note: If only one response is configured, it cannot be deleted.
    5. Validation – This will only display for open ended answer types. Options for validation include:
      • None
      • Currency
      • Numbers

Ensure to save the drawer to add the custom field.

    Event Builder (without event template)

Campus events built without a template will display any default custom fields if configured. Learn more about custom event planning fields here.

    Budget and Expenses

If this event was not created from a template, then click the + Add Item button to add relevant budgeting items and then enter in the planned cost for each item. A running total will display at the bottom of this box to indicate the total planned costs for the event.

    Engagement Goal

This section includes the Engagement goal and Scheduled interview goal planning fields.

    Engagement goal

The Engagement Goal is to define the level of engagement that the event aims to achieve. This includes metrics like the number of registration conversations started, registration conversations completed, resumes captured, interview requests sent, interviews scheduled, interviews completed, and total hires. The engagement goal helps in tracking the success of the event and the effectiveness of the recruitment process for campus and early career events.

Enter in the number of students that you hope to engage with for this event.

    Scheduled interview goal

The Scheduled interview goal is to define the number of interviews that are scheduled for the event. Enter in the number of interviews that you hope to schedule for this event.
