Happy August! 🎉 We've been working on updates to help your teams hire faster and smarter.

Here's the latest feature releases and improvements.

This August 11th release includes the following enhancements. These updates are subject to change until the day of the release.

The features in this release apply to your account based on your product packaging. Contact your CS Representative with any questions about use cases or account configuration.

    Channels

Limit verification code options to primary contact method

You can now limit the verification code options that a candidate sees to a candidate's Primary Contact Method, instead of showing every communication channel on file. If a candidate has unsubscribed from that method, Paradox prompts them to update their communication preferences before sending a new code.

By delivering codes through the channel the candidate chose when they applied, your team keeps the experience clear and supports carrier compliance.

Learn more about the More section of Client Setup and candidate multi-factor authentication (MFA).

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this feature impacts Paradox Admins and System Implementors (Partner Users), as well as user roles with access to Client Setup. This also impacts candidates, who can view verification code delivery options after the Secure Login page.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers. Setup is required. Only users with full access to Client Setup can configure the verification code options. If needed, contact your Company/Account Admin or CS Representative for assistance. To enable verification codes using the candidate's primary contact method:
      1. Select the All Apps menu in the upper-left corner of the header and then Settings in its drop-down menu.
      2. When the Settings page opens, select Client Setup under the Paradox Tools section.
      3. Client Setup will then open. Scroll down to and open the More section from the left panel.
      4. Enable Verification Code Primary Contact Method.
        • By default, this is disabled. When enabled, candidates will only be sent two-factor authentication (2FA) via their primary contact method.
      5. In the lower-right corner, select Save to apply changes.

This feature applies to SMS, Email, and WhatsApp verification codes.

    Content Management System (CMS)

Turn on/off Multi-Application check status experience

    Single application check status experience

    Multiple applications check status experience

You can now control what candidates experience when they ask the AI Assistant about their application status. With Candidate CheckStatus Experience enabled, candidates who have applied to more than one role verify their identity, see every application in a list, and can choose which application status to check. With it disabled, candidates still receive a status answer from your standard CheckStatus topic in Candidate Q&A with no identity verification step and no application list, even if the candidate has applied to multiple roles.

By controlling when the multi-application experience is available in your account, your team can update CMS content and Assistant Messaging on your schedule before you enable the setting.

Learn more about the Q&A section of Client Setup and the candidate experience for multi-application.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this feature impacts Paradox Admins and Account Admins, as well as user roles with access to the Content Management System (CMS).
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to configure for all customers using the CMS. Only users with full access to Client Setup can configure the Check Status experience. If needed, contact your Company/Account Admin or CS Representative for assistance. To disable the Check Status experience:
      1. Select the All Apps menu in the upper-left corner of the header and then Settings in its drop-down menu.
      2. When the Settings page opens, select Client Setup under the Paradox Tools section.
      3. Client Setup will then open. Scroll down to and open the Q&A section from the left panel.
      4. Disable Candidate CheckStatus Experience.
        • By default, this setting is enabled.
      5. In the lower-right corner, select Save to apply changes.

Content Quality Score available for all accounts

You can now receive a Content Quality Score as soon as your account is set up, even before it qualifies for the standard scoring model. Paradox compares your configured intents against top-performing intents across the platform and updates your score in real time as you improve content.

By scoring content from day one, your team can identify and fix content gaps early, including on new or low-usage accounts that do not yet qualify for the standard scoring model.

Learn more about Content Quality Score.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this feature impacts Account Admins, as well as user roles with access to the Content Management System (CMS) and Content Quality Score.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using Content Quality Score (a CMS feature, with a Contextual AI add-on). No setup is required with this automatic logic update. To access the Content Quality Score:
      1. Follow the configuration and navigation steps in Content quality score.
      2. View the Content Quality Score.
        • Note: You must have five configured intents to receive the Content Quality Score.
      3. Select Improve Score to review the flagged responses and improve your Content Quality Score.

Your account needs at least five matching intents from the platform's top-performing intents list (reviewed and updated quarterly) to receive a score on day one. Your score updates in real time as you edit intents in the CMS and use Improve Score to review flagged responses.

    Conversational Events

    Superday hiring events

    Superday event registration

    Superday event schedule registration

Create a superday from the Event Builder

You can now turn a standard hiring event into an invitation-only Superday, a multi-session assessment day where one registration schedules a candidate for every session and interview on that day. One registration schedules a candidate for every session and interview happening on that day,

By running invitation-only Superday events entirely in Paradox, your team can replace spreadsheet coordination and manual calendar invites with one clear schedule per candidate.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this feature impacts Account Admins and Power Users, as well as user roles with access to the Event Builder.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using Conversational Events. Superday Events is on by default and can be turned off in the Conversational Events section of Client Setup. Confirm Superday Events is enabled in Client Setup before you create a Superday event. To create a Superday event:
      1. Follow the navigation steps in Create an event.
      2. In the Overview step, enable Is this a Superday event?
        • Important Note: Once candidates are registered and scheduled to this event, the Superday toggle cannot be turned off.
      3. Edit the amount of candidates that can be registered and scheduled to the Superday event (maximum: 150).
      4. In the Schedule step, build the event's interview sessions. Superday sessions run consecutively and can't be scheduled over one another.
      5. In the Registration step, select Invitation only private event.
        • Note: Superdays are typically private. This means candidates cannot join via the Event Phone Number or Event Landing Page. They can only access this event through auto-scheduling via a Workflow trigger or manual scheduling from the Candidate Inbox.
      6. Complete the remaining steps for the event.
      7. In the upper-right corner, select Create Event.

Superday events support invitation-only (private) events in this release. The following use cases are not supported:

    • Superday events with walk-ins, public self-registration, or pass/fail mid-day elimination (candidates not scheduled to all rounds).
    • Superday events with partial scheduling.
    • Virtual Chat Booth sessions (disabled for Superday events).

    Conversational Scheduling

Mass update default calendar in Roles & Permissions

You can now set a default calendar for an entire user role in Roles & Permissions, instead of updating each user individually. Your team can apply any location calendar or user calendar to users who have not set a personal default, or roll it out to everyone in the role.

By setting calendar defaults at the role level, your team can align every user in a role to the right location calendar in one update instead of changing settings user by user.

Learn more about updating scheduling settings by user role.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this feature impacts Paradox Admins and System Implementers (Partner Users), who configure this feature. It also impacts Power Users (recruiters and hiring managers) and Basic/Limited Users, who use My Calendar/Calendars.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using Scheduling. Setup is required to configure a default calendar for a user role. Contact your CS Representative for help configuring this feature.

    Forms and Offers

Candidate attributes in forms and attribute-driven list-select in offers

    Candidate attributes in forms

    Form condition builder list-select attributes

    Offer dropdown list-select attributes

    Offer dropdown field mapping

You can now do the following in Forms and Offers:

    • Add form section conditions based on Candidate Attributes (free-text or list-select) so sections show or hide form data already on the candidate profile.
    • Select values from a dropdown instead of typing them in when a list-select Candidate Attribute is used as a condition in a form or offer, with Is or Is Not operators and support for selecting more than one value at once.
    • Map offer Dropdown components to list-select System Attributes under Field Mapping so options populate from the attribute list automatically instead of being entered in each offer.

By connecting form and offer conditions and offer dropdown fields directly to your System Attributes, your team can build one form or offer that adapts to each candidate and manage a list of options in one place.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this feature impacts Paradox Admins, System Implementors (Partner Users), and Account Admins with access to building Forms and Offers.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using Forms (adding conditions to form sections) or Offers (adding a dropdown component and field mapping to list-select system attributes). No setup is required with this automatic logic update.

    Verbal offers

    Verbal offer configuration in Workflows

    Verbal offer configuration in Journeys

Send offer after Offer Approval Approved in Candidate Inbox

You can now pause automatic offer delivery after an Offer Approval so recruiters and hiring managers can extend a verbal offer before the candidate receives anything in writing. When the team is ready, they can send the approved offer manually from the Candidate Inbox.

By pausing automatic offer delivery after approval, your team controls when the candidate receives the written offer and can follow your hiring process without workarounds.

Learn more about configuring the automation for delayed offers (verbal offers).

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this feature impacts Paradox Admins, System Implementors (Partner Users), and Account Admins with access to Workflows and Journeys (Next Steps), who configure this behavior. It also impacts Power Users (recruiters and hiring managers), who manage Offer Approvals from the Candidate Inbox.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using Offer Approvals. Setup is required to configure offer approvals that don't send automatically.

To configure offer approvals that don't send offers automatically (Paradox Admins, Account Admins):

    1. Follow the navigation and configuration instructions to create a workflow/open an existing workflow in Workflows.
    2. Using the left pane, navigate to Offer > Offer Approval Approved.
    3. Select the action menu, or ellipses, and select Delete to remove the Move Status to > Send Offer action type.
    4. Follow the configuration and navigation instructions in Create next steps in Journeys.
    5. Using the left pane, navigate to Offer > Offer Approval Approved.
    6. Select + Add Next Step Button.
    7. Customize the Button Title and select + Select Status.
    8. Select Send Offer, then Apply.
    9. In the lower-right corner, select Save.

To deliver an offer manually (Power Users, like Recruiters and Hiring Managers):

    1. In the Candidate Inbox, select Send Offer from the Next Steps to move the candidate forward.

    Employee Communications

    Display document version at completion

Paradox now preserves the document title an employee saw at completion on employee profiles, manager views, and mass downloads, even if the document is later renamed or updated in the CMS Media Library.

By locking in the signed title at completion, your team keeps audit records accurate and employees see on their profile exactly what they reviewed and signed.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this feature impacts all user roles.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using Employee Communications (accounts with Employee Communications enabled only, Paradox Franchise users/accounts). No setup is required with this automatic logic update.

    Integration Center

Filter audit logs across a longer date range

You can now filter Integration Center audit logs back to January 1, 2026, across a range of up to 31 days at a time, with the Date/Time Range displayed in your timezone instead of UTC.

By expanding the audit log search window and displaying timestamps in local time, your team can troubleshoot integration activity without hitting the old one-week limit or converting timezones manually.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this feature impacts Paradox Admins and System Implementers (Partner Users), as well as user roles with access to the Integration Center.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using the Integration Center. No setup is required with this automatic logic update.

    Job Management

Headers and footers for Job Description Sections

    Job Description Sections Settings

    Applying Section Settings

You can now set a Job Description Section to appear automatically as a header or footer on job descriptions, without adding it to each job manually. Once you configure default placement, Paradox applies the section to the top or bottom of job descriptions going forward.

By applying standard sections as headers or footers at the account level, your team keeps language like EEO statements or closing disclaimers consistent across every posting without updating each job individually.

Learn more about creating a dynamic job description.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this feature impacts Paradox Admins, as well as any user role with access to Job Description Sections in the Job Manager. It also impacts Account Admins, as well as any user role with access to the Job Builder (Job Description step).
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using Job Management (with Job Description Sections enabled). Setup is required to set a section's default placement. To configure the section's default placement:
      1. Follow the navigation instructions in Dynamic job description overview and configuration instructions in Dynamic job descriptions: Configuration guide.
      2. Open an existing or new Job Description Section, and then select the settings icon.
      3. For Default Placement, select between the following options:
        • None
        • Header
        • Footer
      4. In the lower-right corner, select Update.
      5. If you select Header or Footer, apply the section settings from the following options:
        • Apply to New Jobs: This section will automatically apply to new jobs created from this point forward. Existing jobs must be manually updated and published to include this section.
      6. Select Save to apply the section settings, and then select Save for the Job Description Section.

    Important Note:

This release only automatically applies the headers/footers to a Job Description created after the Job Description Section is made.

    Journeys

    Enhanced stages and statuses permissions

    Stage permission settings

    Status permission settings

    Action Needed permissions

You can now do the following in Journeys:

    • Configure Full Access, View Access (Full or Limited, depending on the stage), or No Access permission levels for every stage of a candidate journey, not just the stage types that supported permissions before.
    • Fully hide a candidate from users with No Access to a stage, closing a gap where those users could previously still see and act on candidates in stages they weren't granted access to.
    • Enable Action Needed alerts to reach only users with permission to act, so no one is notified about a status they can't do anything about.

By extending one consistent permission and access model to every journey stage, your team can control who sees sensitive candidate data throughout the hiring process.

The No Access permission level is not available until August 19, 2026.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this feature impacts Paradox Admins, System Implementors (Partner Users), and Account Admins with access to Journeys, who configure this behavior. It also impacts Power Users (recruiters and hiring managers), who move candidates to statuses from the Candidate Inbox.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using Journeys. No setup is required to maintain existing permissions for stage types already covered. Setup is required to configure permissions for newly supported stage types. To configure permissions for a stage:
      1. Follow the navigation and configuration instructions in System Journeys overview and Create a new Candidate Journey.
      2. Open the desired Journey.
      3. Select the desired stage, and then select Edit Permissions.
      4. Using the left pane, select the desired Stage Permissions, Status Permissions, or Action Needed Permissions (if Highlight this step as Action Needed for employees is enabled) as needed.
        • Note: Action Needed permissions require Full Access to the relevant stage or status.
      5. Set the permission level for each employee role, hiring team role, or individual employee for a stage or status:
        • Capture, Survey, Form, Application, Offer, Onboarding, Background Check, and Conversation stages:
          • Full Access: Employee can view and manage candidates.
          • View Access - Full: Employee can view candidates, including form/offer details and conversation/survey messages.
          • View Access - Limited: Employee can view candidates, but cannot see form/offer details or any conversation/survey messages.
          • No Access: Employee cannot view or manage candidates.
        • All other stage types (Scheduling, Hired, Disposition, Event, Superday Hiring Event, Orientation Event, Custom):
          • Full Access: Employee can view and manage candidates.
          • View Access - Full: Employee can view candidates, but cannot manage them.
          • No Access: Employee cannot view or manage candidates.
      6. In the upper-right corner, select Save Changes.

    Location Management

    Improved tentative location resolution

    Location Mapping page

    Location Mapping History

You can now review and confirm suggested merges when a job feed update moves a job from a Tentative Location to a Formal Location, but candidates remain still tied to the Tentative Location. Paradox groups the locations in the Match Detected tab, and your team can resolve multiple locations at once with bulk merge or delete. When you confirm the merge, every affected candidate moves to the Formal Location automatically.

By surfacing tentative-to-formal location matches and supporting bulk actions, your team keeps candidate-location data accurate without cleaning up locations one at a time.

    Learn more about

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this feature impacts Account Admins, as well as any user role with access to Location Management (Location Mapping) and who upload job feeds.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using Location Management. No setup is required with this automatic logic update.
      • When Paradox detects a job that has moved from a Tentative Location to a Formal Location, you can review the suggested merge in Location Management and confirm or deny it. Confirming a merge reassigns every candidate still associated with the Tentative Location to the matching Formal Location.

    Additional Notes:

    • Tentative locations without a suggested match appear on the No Match Detected tab, where you can merge with an existing location, add a new location, or delete the tentative record.
    • A location can only be deleted if it has no candidates and no jobs attached.
    • Bulk merge is blocked when the combined candidate count across selected locations reaches 2,000 or more.
    • Bulk actions are not available for Convert or Add Location actions.

    Paradox Assist

    Add candidate

    Mobile experience

    Web experience

Add & Schedule and Add & Screen options

You can now dd a candidate directly from an Assist conversation. Assist pulls the candidate's name, contact details, location, and job or group from the chat, opens a pre-filled Add Candidate form for your review, and saves the profile once you confirm. Depending on permissions, users can also select Add & Schedule or Add & Screen to advance the candidate.

By adding candidates directly in Assist, recruiters and hiring managers can capture a walk-in in seconds without leaving the conversation or opening a separate form.

Learn more about adding a candidate in Paradox Assist.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: By default, this feature impacts all user roles with access to Paradox Assist, except Basic/Limited Users.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using Paradox Assist. No setup is required. Users can add candidates through Assist when both of the following are in place:
      • Olivia Assist, Contextual AI are enabled in Client Setup.
      • Contextual AI - Olivia Assist & Generative Platform Experience is enabled in Company Information.
      • Disable Adding a Candidate Manually is not enabled in Client Setup.
      • The user has the Full Access permission level to the Candidates > Add Candidate permission in Roles & Permissions.

Paradox Admins cannot add a candidate in Assist.

    Minor enhancements

    Channels

    • We've added Norwegian and Finnish as language options when creating and editing WhatsApp templates in the WhatsApp Admin Page, and added Norwegian and Finnish text to the universal WhatsApp templates.

    Hiring Events

    • We've updated the Close Pre-Event Registration logic based on the session types configured in the hiring event:
      • Event is Sessions Only: When the Total Registered Candidates setting is set to Set Specific Number, registration closes once the total number of registered candidates reaches that limit. The At Set Time setting is unchanged.
      • Event Interview Sessions Only: When the Total Registered Candidates setting is set to Max interview slots available, registration closes once all interview slots are filled or scheduled. When set to Set Specific Number, the limit cannot exceed total available interview slots, and registration closes once that number of interview slots are scheduled.
      • Event Sessions + Event Interview Sessions: When the Total Registered Candidates setting is set to Set Specific Number, registration closes when total candidate registrations reach the set number, using the same logic as sessions-only events.

    Integration Center/Integrations

    • We've updated Advanced Webhook Inbound audit logs in the Integration Center with dedicated log screens, additional filters, customizable table settings, and saved filter templates. The table view displays Response Status, Request Name, Unique ID, and Date & Time.
    • We've updated login and user management for accounts using the Workday UPAS integration:
      • Users sign in to Paradox through Workday rather than a separate Paradox login.
      • User profile fields for Workday-provisioned users are read-only in Roles & Permissions, since Workday is the system of record for that data.
      • Logging out of Paradox also logs the user out of Workday.
      • When a Workday session expires, Paradox redirects the user through the Workday sign-in flow.

    Scheduling

    • We've updated the Interviews page so the experience is consistent across desktop and mobile web, with enhanced filtering, column customization, segments, and segment deletion now available on mobile web.
    • We've updated the Microsoft Teams app so users can switch between Production (US), Production (EU), Staging (US), and Staging (EU) by using the help command, with each user selecting their environment independently. Staging environments also now support the Teams communication channel.
