This June 9th release includes the following enhancements. These updates are subject to change until the day of the release.

Happy June! 🎉 We've been working on updates to help your teams hire faster and smarter. If you want any additional information or help configuring the features below, please contact your CS representative.

Here's the latest feature releases and improvements.

    Paradox Assist

    View all interviews in Assist

You can now ask Paradox Assist to retrieve all interviews you have access to view across all interview statuses, not just the ones where you are listed as the assigned interviewer. Assist understands requests, so you can ask for upcoming interviews, past interviews, pending requests, canceled interviews, or anything that needs your attention. You can also ask by candidate name, job name, or interview type, and cancel or reschedule directly from the same conversation.

By expanding Assist's interview visibility to reflect what users can actually access in the platform, your team gets an accurate and complete picture of scheduling activity.

Watch a live video walkthrough from the product manager.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: This feature impacts all user roles with access to Paradox Assist, except Basic/Limited Users. Users must have the right interview visibility permissions in place.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using Paradox Assist. No setup is required. To use Paradox Assist to display interviews:
      1. Open Paradox Assist.
      2. Type a request to view interviews. Some examples of what you can ask:
        • "Show me interviews" (returns all)
        • "What interviews are coming up?" (upcoming only)
        • "What interviews already happened?" (past only)
        • "What interviews are we waiting on?" (pending)
        • "Show me canceled interviews"
        • "Any interviews that need my attention?"
        • "Show me my interviews" (only interviews where you are the assigned interviewer)
        • “Show me [candidate name]'s interviews”
        • “Interviews for the [job name] role”
      3. To cancel or reschedule, type your request in the conversation (for example, "Cancel [candidate name]'s interview" or "Reschedule [candidate name]'s interview").

    Content Management System (CMS)

Knowledge training library (KTL) document and intent migration between accounts

You can now include Knowledge Training Library (KTL) documents and hyperlinks when downloading (exporting) and uploading (importing) your Knowledge Base from account to account. All published KTL files and their associated intents are included in the export.

By enabling KTL document and hyperlink migration alongside the rest of the Knowledge Base, your team can move tested content from staging to production environments without re-uploading documents and regenerating intents from scratch.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: This feature impacts Paradox Admins, System Implementors (Partner Users), and Company/Account Admins, as well as user roles with access to the Content Management System (CMS) and the Knowledge Training Library (a Contextual AI feature).
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using Contextual Q&A with KTL. No setup is required. To export a Knowledge Base including KTL documents:
      1. If you haven't already, configure and read navigation instructions in Contextual AI and the Knowledge Training Library.
      2. Using the left pane, navigate to Candidate Assistant Responses, and then select Candidate Q&A.
      3. Select the settings icon, and then select either:
        • Upload Knowledge Base to import your knowledge base.
        • Download Knowledge Base to export your knowledge base.

    Contextual AI

    Multi-brand support for Contextual Q&A

You can now add brand-specific information to each brand. Contextual Q&A uses this content to generate responses that reflect the right employer identity and context for that brand, rather than any generic company-level response.

By grounding Contextual Q&A in brand-level content, you can manage multiple distinct employer brands and deliver accurate, brand-appropriate answers without blending any content together.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: This feature impacts Paradox Admins.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using Contextual Q&A and Multi-Brand. Please contact your CS Representative for help configuring this feature.

    Conversational Scheduling

    Default time format

You can now set an account-level default time format (12-hour or 24-hour) so all newly created locations automatically inherit the correct time format without requiring manual per-location configuration.

By setting a default once at the account level, your team avoids inconsistent time display for locations that haven't been individually configured.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: This update impacts Paradox Admins and System Implementors (Partner Users), as well as user roles with access to Client Setup.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using Conversational Scheduling. The default is set to 12 hour. Only users with full access to Client Setup can configure the default time format. If needed, contact your Company/Account Admin or CS Representative for assistance.
      1. Select the All Apps menu in the upper-left corner of the header and then Settings in its drop-down menu.
      2. When the Settings page opens, select Client Setup under the Paradox Tools section.
      3. Client Setup will then open. Scroll down to and open the Scheduling section from the left panel.
      4. For Default Time Format, select between the following:
        • 12 hour
        • 24 hour
      5. In the lower-right corner, select Save to apply changes.

Virtual dial-in phone number token and meeting ID support

Building on the #virtual-dial-in-number token in a prior release, which retrieved the dial-in phone number for virtual meetings, the token now also includes the platform-specific meeting or conference ID. This makes the dial-in link a true one-tap experience: candidates and interviewers on mobile can dial in and automatically enter the required code in a single action, with no manual entry needed.

By including the meeting ID in the dial-in link, candidates and interviewers can join virtual interviews by phone without an extra step to look up or enter a code.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: This update impacts Paradox Admins, System Implementors (Partner Users), Company/Account Admins, as well as any user roles with access to scheduling (virtual interviews).
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available for all customers using Conversational Scheduling (virtual interviews). No setup is required, but please contact your CS Representative to ensure the token is included in your scheduling communications.

    Job Management

View posting locations for a job from My Jobs

You can now view the posting locations associated with a job from the My Jobs list without opening the full job record.

By surfacing job posting location details directly in My Jobs, your team can quickly confirm where a job is posted and advertised to candidates without additional navigation steps.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: This feature impacts all users but Basic/Limited Users that have access to My Jobs.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using My Jobs. No setup is required. To view posting locations for a job in My Jobs:
      1. Select the All Apps menu in the upper-left corner of the header and then My Jobs in its drop-down menu.
      2. Select the location for a job.
      3. Navigate between Job Locations (where the job will be made available to candidates) and Job Posting Locations (where the job will be posted and advertised to candidates).

Configure job categories in job templates

You can now pre-assign one or more job categories to a job template so that every job created from that template starts with the right category already in place. For templates with a single category, Paradox applies it automatically, so employees posting those jobs never have to make the selection at all.

By putting category control at the job template level, your job management team can prevent miscategorizations before they happen.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: This feature impacts Paradox Admins and Company/Account Admins, as well as user roles with access to the Job Manager.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using Job Templates in the Job Manager. No setup is required. To configure job categories in job templates:
      1. If you haven't already, configure and read navigation instructions in the Job Manager overview.
      2. Using the left pane, navigate to Templates.
      3. In the upper-right corner of the Templates, select + Create.
      4. Select either Multi-Location or Standard Job.
      5. In the Overview step of the Job Builder, select the Job Category using the dropdown.
        • Note: You can select multiple job categories.
      6. In the lower-right corner, select Apply.
      7. Complete the rest of the job configuration.

When creating a job from a template in Jobs or My Jobs, the Job Category selection step reflects what was configured on the template:

    • No categories assigned: All account categories are available.
    • Multiple categories assigned: Only the categories tied to that template display as options.
    • One category assigned: That category is pre-selected automatically. Only the assigned category is available to choose.

Important: This feature is not available for Integrated Jobs.

Edit brand in My Jobs for standard jobs

    Job Builder

    My Jobs

You can now allow your employees to select the brand when posting or updating a job in My Jobs, so a single template can serve every brand in your account rather than requiring a separate template for each.

By giving your employees brand selection at the moment of posting, your job management team no longer needs a separate template for every brand variant of the same role.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: This feature impacts Paradox Admins and Company/Account Admins, as well as user roles with access to the Job Manager.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using the Job Manager (Standard Jobs only). No setup is required. To enable editable brands in My Jobs for Standard Jobs:
      1. If you haven't already, configure and read navigation instructions in the Job Manager overview.
      2. In the upper-right corner of the Jobs section of the Job Manager, select + Create > + Create a Job.
      3. Select Standard Job, then select Continue and proceed through the Create New Job modal.
      4. In the Overview step of the Job Builder, enable Allow employees to edit the Brand in My Jobs.
        • Note: This setting is disabled by default. When it is enabled, Brand Name is optional for publishing.
      5. Complete the rest of the job configuration.

The brand is now editable in My Jobs. When the setting is enabled, the user in My Jobs is required to select a brand to post or update the job.

Filter jobs by employee and journey in Job Manager

You can now filter the Job Manager by Hiring Team and Candidate Journey, making it easier to find and take action on jobs assigned to specific hiring team roles or in a particular journey stage.

By adding these filters to the Job Manager, your team can quickly narrow a large job list down to the hiring team roles and journeys most relevant to their work, reducing the time needed to locate and act on the right jobs.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: This feature impacts Paradox Admins and Company/Account Admins, as well as user roles with access to the Job Manager.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers using the Job Manager. No setup is required. To filter jobs by employee or journey in the Job Manager:
      1. If you haven't already, configure and read navigation instructions in the Job Manager overview.
      2. Under All Jobs in the Job Manager, select the filter icon.
      3. Filter by Candidate Journey or Hiring Team by selecting the desired checkboxes, and then select Apply.
      4. In the lower-right corner of the filtering modal, select Apply to apply the filter.

    Platform

Select All filter for filtering in the CEM

You can now select all available options in any multi-select filter in the Candidate Inbox with a single click, bringing consistent Select All behavior to every filter.

By letting your team select all options in a filter at once, reviewing candidates across every location, stage, or source no longer requires selecting every option individually.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: This feature impacts all users but Basic/Limited Users that have access to the Candidate Inbox.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers. No setup is required. To use Select All filtering:
      1. Navigate to the Candidate Inbox.
      2. Select the filter icon to open the filtering modal.
      3. Select the desired filter, then select Select All to automatically select every option.
      4. Select Apply.
      5. In the lower-right corner of the filtering modal, select Apply to apply the filter.

Displaying inbound SMS reactions and improved emoji handling

Your AI Assistant can now handle emoji-only messages and message reactions consistently on SMS and WhatsApp. Common emojis such as 👍, 👎, and 😊 receive appropriate responses, all other emojis prompt your AI Assistant to ask for clarification, and message reactions (such as selecting a thumbs up on an SMS message) receive no response at all.

By giving your AI Assistant a clear and intentional response to the most common emoji interactions, the candidate experience feels more natural and less likely to stall.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: This feature impacts candidates who communicate with your AI Assistant through SMS or WhatsApp.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers. No setup is required.

Enhanced system standard attributes with list-select type

You can now configure Standard Attributes as list-select type, giving users a structured dropdown of options instead of a free-text field. Previously, list-select was only available for Custom Attributes. This option is restricted to eligible standard attributes to ensure configuration compatibility.

By bringing list-select to standard attributes, your team can collect cleaner, more consistent candidate data without building custom workarounds.

    Role impact and feature activation

    • Role Impact: This update impacts Paradox Admins and System Implementors (Partner Users) with access to System Attributes.
    • Feature Activation: This feature is automatically available to use for all customers. Setup is required. If needed, contact your Company/Account Admin or CS Representative for assistance.

    Minor enhancements

    Paradox Analytics

    • We've added a User Surveys entity and report template in Paradox Analytics, making it possible to build reports on feedback surveys completed by recruiters and employee referral users about candidates. The template includes 27 default columns covering survey response data, question and flow details, rater information, and candidate context, with a default date filter of the last 3 months.
    • We've added Job Category as a selectable field in the Candidate Wide entity in Paradox Analytics, following the same pattern as Job Family Name. This field surfaces the company group name associated with a candidate's job.
    • We've added Primary Contact Method as a selectable field in the Candidate Wide entity in Paradox Analytics, making it possible to include a candidate's configured contact method (for example, Email and SMS) in any report built on the Candidate Wide entity.
    • We've updated the Positive Interaction Rate metric in Paradox Analytics to use an expanded set of 13 negative interaction intents when classifying Candidate Q&A interactions. The metric now more accurately reflects the Candidate Q&A experience across Q&A engagements.
    • We've updated the Report Builder and Dashboard Builder file exports to support .txt as an export format in addition to .csv.

    Approvals

We've updated Job Approvals to hide the Timeline tab when no timelines are configured in an account and the Job Posting End Date setting is enabled, keeping Approvals relevant to each account's configuration.

    Assistant Messaging

We've updated Assistant Messaging to apply a 1,024-character limit for WhatsApp message templates.

    Contextual Q&A

We've renamed Matched Content to Matched Intent in the Explainability Drawer.

    Conversation Builder

We've increased the maximum number of dynamic questions supported in a single conversation to 200, enabling customers with complex dynamic chat-to-apply flows to build longer screening experiences.

    Employee Communications

We've updated Employee Communications Send Contact Card feature with the following functionality (OL-236536):

    • Added contact card message as placeholder text in reports rather than a file or link
    • Added multilingual configuration support for assistant names, with English used when no translation is available
    • Removed the Add New Assistant button and Assistant Teams tab in CMS > AI Assistants > Employee Assistants.

    Forms

We've updated Forms, Offers, and Hire Details to apply masked attribute behavior consistently across the CEM. Users with the Attribute Visibility permission can reveal masked system attribute values in forms and offers while restricting visibility for others.

    Integrations

We've updated the Send Interview Alerts Public API to support interview_owner_ex_id as an alternative to interview_owner_email, allowing the interview owner to be identified by Employee External ID instead of email address.

    Job Feeds

We've updated Job Feeds to validate and standardize country codes when creating tentative locations in Location Management, ensuring location data stays consistent regardless of the format provided in the job feed.

    Paradox Assist

We've updated Paradox Assist to be accessible across all CEM pages, extending availability beyond the five originally supported pages (Candidate Inbox, Interview, My Calendar, My Jobs, and Recruiting Dashboard).

    Platform

In order to view recorded interviews on a Candidate Profile, users will now require either view or full access to the Messaging permission (under the Candidates parent permission in Roles and Permissions).

    Recruiting Dashboard

We've updated the Recruiting Dashboard to support mobile web access. This update also unblocks mobile access to the Job Approvals feature.

    Roles & Permissions

We've updated Group and Location Permissions to display all groups when the Access All Candidate Locations setting is enabled, ensuring Company/Account Admins can accurately review and manage all group assignments from a single view.

    Scheduling

    • We've updated auto-scheduling to correctly populate the interview location in candidate communications when a Google Places address is selected as the interview location, which matches our current manual scheduling behavior.
    • We've updated the name of the Client Setup setting for sequential interview virtual links from Virtual Meeting Links for Sequential Interviews to Virtual Meeting Links for Same-Day Sequential Interviews to accurately reflect the setting.

    Talent Community

We've updated the Talent Community to retain a candidate's community of interest (COI) when they use the restart command.

    Widget Chat

We've added an AI disclaimer to the candidate widget, informing candidates that AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies.
