      • Hiring Event
        • Note: If selected, click Next and then the Event Venue Type.
      • Orientation
      • Campus Activity

    5. Click Create Event or Create Activity.

    Overview section

    1. The Event Builder will then open. Enter in the Public Name for the event. This is what candidates will see when they are invited to an event.
    2. If you have Multi-Branding enabled for your account, then select the Brand that is hosting the event.
    3. If you want to report on this event, select an Event Reporting Category.
      • Note: Event Reporting Categories are created on the backend by your CS Representative and are used in reporting. Contact your CS Representative if you want to add additional Event Reporting Categories.
    4. For in-person events, enter in the physical address of the event in the Venue Location field and then enter the Venue Name.
    5. Campus Events. A Campus toggle will display when Campus is enabled for your account. Turn on this toggle if this is a Campus event and then select the corresponding campus tied to it. Otherwise, continue to the next step.
    6. Select the event occurrence and any additional details that are required based on your selection.
      • Note: If Recurring is selected, then a Recurring Rules and Summary steps will display.
    7. Click Next in the top right corner of the page.

    Recurring Rules section

Within the Recurring Rules step, the user will set the rules from when the recurring event should start, should end, and the frequency of the occurrences within the entire recurring event. To do this,

    1. Select a date on the calendar.
    2. In the slide-out drawer that opens, select the values for the following fields.
      • Start Date of First Occurrence – This is the start date of the first event.By default, the date you selected on the calendar will be shown as the start date.
      • Start Time of First Occurrence – This is the start time of the first event. By default, the start time will be 8:00am.
        • Note: The time selected here will automatically be the start time for all event occurrences within the recurring event. After the recurring event is created, the user can customize the start and end time per individual occurrence.
      • End Date of First Occurrence – This is the end date of the first event. By default, the date you selected on the calendar will be shown as the end date.
      • End Time of First Occurrence – This is the end time of the first event. By default, the end time will be 5:00pm.
      • Frequency – This selector is where you can set the preferred recurring rules. By default, the frequency will be set to Weekly, showing the day of the week that you selected, but you can update this selector to Once, Daily, Weekly, or Bi-Weekly.
        • Note: If you maintain or select Weekly or Bi-Weekly, you will see the On These Days section where you can select the days that this event will occur for the frequency set.
      • End of Recurring Event – This is when the entire recurring event will end. By default, the last day of the month will be the date shown.

    3. Click Save.
    4. Click Next in the top right corner of the page.

    Multi-day recurring events

You have the ability to create multi-day event occurrences within a recurring event by:

    • Clicking, dragging, and dropping over multiple days on the calendar.
    • Selecting multiple days within the Create Event(s) slide-out drawer.

The difference here is you will see that the start and end dates are not the same. That is because the end date shown is representative of the date you ended on when you clicked and dragged.

    • Note: The max amount of days for a multi-day occurrence is 7. By default, the frequency will remain Weekly. However, you will not see the On These Days section as a multi-day occurrence, as it does not apply to that logic.

    Jobs section

This section will not display when building an Orientation Event.

    1. To add jobs to the hiring event, first click the + Add Open Job Requisitions or + Add Jobs button, whichever is displayed for you.

    1. Click Next in the top right corner of the page.
