Create_Position
This creates/opens a position for a supervisory organization using the position management staffing model. Uses the Create Position business process
Create_Position details
Create_Position is used for the Workday hire process. This data should be provided by client or from the job feed. This call returns the position ID to be used in subsequent put_applicant or hire_employee calls. The specific fields required will vary from client to client, but usually requires the following fields.

Put_Applicant
Adds a new pre-hire (or updates an existing pre-hire) with the information supplied in the request.
- Note: Pre-hire was previously called “Applicant.” However, the web service operation and its elements are not yet renamed, so that existing integrations continue to work.
Additional details
Put_Applicant is used for the Workday hire process. This call returns the applicant ID to be used in subsequent hire_employee call. If the candidate is a rehire, you would need to include the <wd:Applicant_Reference> tag and provide the previous applicant ID. The specific fields required will vary from client to client, but usually requires the following fields.
- Personal data (Name, email, phone, address, birthdate, SSN)
- Position ID
- Previous applicant ID, if applicable

This creates or updates contact information for a person. Contact information includes email addresses, physical addresses, phone numbers, web addresses, and instant messenger contact information. Changes are routed through existing Contact Information for the Person Event business process for necessary approvals. Submitted contact information by default replaces existing entries of the same type. For example, submitting a new email address replaces the current email address. Set the Add Only flag to override this default behavior. When this flag is set to True, existing information is not replaced in cases where multiple entries are allowed.

For the interview times to appear correctly in Workday, you may need to send the time in UTC or send the timezone that matches the Workday instance. A successful put_interview call will return the Interview Session WID that can be used to update or delete the interview at a later time.

Deleting an interview uses the put_interview call. The Interview Session WID must be passed to identify the interview to be deleted. This value is returned from the initial put_interview call that created the interview. The Delete flag must be set to True.
