School Management is where you can create and manage school/campus profiles as well as assign approval flows in your account.

    Navigation

Navigate to School Management by first clicking the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then the Settings app from its drop-down menu. When the Settings page opens, click School Management under the Events and Campus section.

    School Management

Schools in School Management are structured similarly to locations in Location Management. You can add an area folder and then create school profiles that are associated with it. This helps to best organize your schools/campuses.

    Add an area folder

Area folders help to organize your schools/campuses and can be divided up by region, state, or conference, among others. To create an area folder, follow the process below.

    1. Hover over the All Schools folder and click the plus sign that appears.
    2. A dropdown menu will open where you can click Add an Area.

    3. Name the area folder.
    4. Add employees who will have access to the candidates/students who participate in campus events at these schools.
      • Note: If Users are already listed below this field, then they were assigned to the All Schools folder. You can remove user access by navigating to the All Schools folder and clicking the x icon next to their name.

    5. Click Save at the bottom of the page.
    6. Repeat this process for all necessary area folders.

    Add a school profile

Schools can be added under the All Schools area folder or under a custom area folder. To do this, follow the steps below.

    1. Hover over a custom folder and click the plus sign that appears. A dropdown menu will open where you can click Add a School.

    2. In the Find a school field, enter in and then select the name of the school/campus.

    3. A profile will then display. Click the camera icon to upload an image tied to this university.

    4. (Optional) Add a school acronym and mascot, if preferred.
    5. By default, the school’s address will auto-populate if you were able to find the school in the search field. Review to ensure the address is correct. If you clicked Add Custom School from the search field, then you will need to manually enter in an address for this school.

    6. Add employees who will have access to the candidates/students who participate in campus events at these schools.
      • Note: If users are already listed below this field, then they were assigned to the associated area folder. You can remove user access by navigating to the area folder and clicking the x icon next to their name.

    7. Approval Flows Setting. If you have approval flows enabled for their account, then you can enable approval flows for this school/campus by toggling on the Event Planning Approval setting. This will enforce all events associated with this school/campus to be approved before they are officially created. Once enabled, a Select an approval flow selector will display where you can select the approval flow that should be followed for events associated with this school/campus.
      • Note: You can click View to view the approval flow selected in a slide-out drawer.

    8. Click Save to add the school/campus profile.
    9. Repeat this process for all necessary schools/campuses.

Delete an area folder or school profile

You can easily delete an area folder or school profile by navigating to School Management, opening the corresponding folder or profile, and then clicking the Delete button at the bottom of the page.

    Permissions

All users will have access to School Management by default. Contact your CS Representative if this access needs to be adjusted.
