Use cases Personal Information task Candidate experience

The Personal Information section of a form is the first and default section of a new form. This document explains details of this section.

    Use cases

    • Hiring Teams who need to collect basic information from the candidate.

    Personal Information task

By default, each new form will have a Personal Information section as the first section that can be deleted or rearranged. If the section has been deleted, it can be added again like any other section. For the Personal Information section, the default tasks include:

    • Your full name
    • Phone number
    • Email address
      • Note: When completing the form, this has a 254 character count. Long email addresses will wrap in the field.
    • Street address (Line 1)
    • Street address (Line 2)
    • City
    • State
    • Zip Code

    Candidate experience

The Country field will be listed first and prefilled based on the information already known about the candidate. The system will use the candidate’s IP address to determine which country to populate in the dropdown originally, but allow the candidate to change this field if necessary.

By default, the system will use Google’s database to autofill the candidate’s address as they enter in their personal information. While this is meant to assist in making the candidate’s experience easier and more efficient, it can be lacking when their address is not found by Google.

To account for candidates whose address cannot be found, they can click the I don’t see my address button to then manually enter in their address in their country’s format.

The address fields will be updated to reflect the country selected, which will default to the country based on the candidate’s IP address but can be manually updated if needed. If a candidate enters their address under the wrong country, then they must select United States as the country (even if it was previously selected) and then their correct country.
