Configuration Step #1: Enable feature Step #2: Add or update a standard job

If enabled for your account, you have the option to tie multiple locations to a single standard job. Work with your CS Representative to set up this feature for your account.

    Configuration

    Step #1: Enable feature

This feature can only be enabled by a user with full access to Client Setup. If you have this access, please complete the steps below.

    1. Select the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Client Setup under the Paradox Tools section.
    3. Client Setup will then open. Scroll down to and open the Job Management section.
    4. Toggle on Allow Additional Locations for Standard Jobs.
    5. Save the page.

Step #2: Add or update a standard job

When creating or editing a standard job in the Job Builder, you will be able to add additional locations and then include a Location Preference screening question in order to gather the candidate’s preferred work location.

    1. Select the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then Settings in its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Job Manager under the Jobs section.
    3. Job manager will then open. Create a new or edit an existing standard job.
    4. In the Overview section, click + Add Locations.
    5. When the slide-out drawer options, you will have the following options. Set the locations accordingly.
      1. Remote Position – Toggle this on if this job is a remote position.
      2. Preferred Location – Select the most preferred location for this job.
      3. Additional Locations – Select the additional locations that will be hiring for this job. Up to 50 additional locations can be selected.
        • Notes:
          • Because this is a standard job type, there will be no location override logic applied to locations.
          • When selecting location areas (folders) in Job Builder, if a parent location area has any child location areas that do not contain any locations (i.e., are disabled), that parent area will not be checked or saved to the job.
    6. Select Save in the bottom right corner of the drawer.
      • Note: At least one location must be selected for the Preferred Location or the Remote Position must be toggled on to enable the Save button.
    7. Navigate to the Screening section.
    8. Select + Add Question listed next to the Screening Question subsection.
    9. Enter Location Preference or a related title as the name for the question. This question will allow candidates to select all of the potential work locations that they are interested in working at when applying for a job.
    10. Enter a question in the Conversation box that asks the candidate about their location preference.
    11. Select Location Preference as the Reply type.
    12. Select the preferred Location Attribute tied to the job that you want to show to the candidate or Available Locations, which will present a list of all locations where the job is available (preferred locations + additional locations). That way, the candidate’s preference can be collected in the conversation.
      • Note: Currently, the candidate will not be assigned to a work location. The system will only assign them to the Job ID in the CEM.
    13. Click Save in the bottom right corner of this slide-out drawer.
    14. Publish the job.

Location tokens should be evaluated and/or removed from a standard job with multiple locations, as they are not associated currently.
