    Use cases Configuration Create event workflow Permissions

    Event workflows allow you to create workflows specifically around event statuses.


    Use cases

    Teams who want to configure workflow actions, such as send a communication, when candidates are moved into the following event statuses:

    • Event In-Progress
    • Event Ended
    • Event Canceled

    Configuration

    This feature will be enabled for your account if you have both Conversational Events and Workflows enabled for your account.


    Create event workflow

    1. Navigate to the Workflows page.
    2. Click New Workflow in the top right corner of the page.
    3. A modal will open. Select Event Workflow.


       
    4. Enter a name for the workflow.
    5. Select the intended audience.
    6. Click + Add Task.
    7. Enter a name for the task.
    8. Select + Add Trigger and then Event Status Updated.
    9. Select the status used to trigger an action.
      • Note: The only event statuses you can configure workflow actions for are Event In-Progress, Event Ended, and Event Canceled. 


         
    10. Click the plus icon.
    11. The actions available will vary depending on your account configuration. Select the preferred action to take place when a candidate enters into this status.
      • Note: Event surveys can be configured in workflows, as well as within the event itself.
    12. Click Save.
    13. Repeat this process until all necessary tasks have been configured.
    14. Publish the workflow. 

    Permissions

    Access is granted based on a user's permission to the Workflows feature. Default access to this feature is outlined below.
