To do this, define job targeting rules where existing/future jobs that match these rules will be associated with the Talent Community. Today, this does not affect the user’s nor the candidate’s experience with using Talent Community; however, it will be storing these data points for usage in later enhancements.
- Click + Add Targeting.
- Click Next in the top right corner of the section.
Talent Community Journey section

- In this section, select the Talent Community Journey set up in Journeys. This journey will be tied to this community and every candidate that joins it.

- Click Next in the top right corner of the step.
Screening section

- You have the option of adding any screening questions that your AI Assistant should ask the candidate. If the candidate selects this community as their answer to the Community of Interest (COI) question, they will be asked any screening questions unique to this community following their response to the COI question. To do this,

- Enter a name for the question.
- Enter the preferred question.
- Select the Reply Type.
- Tie a System Attribute to this question, if preferred.
- Select the Data Processing Method for validation.
- Click Save.
- Repeat these steps for all questions.
- You also have the option of adding outcomes, which will determine what status a candidate should be moved into based on their answers to the screening questions. Click into the Default Outcome to configure this first and then you can add additional outcomes by clicking the + Add Outcome button and entering in the necessary criteria.
- Note: When you change the Talent Community Journey in a Talent Community, then you will have the option to edit or delete questions used in the outcome.
- Once finished, if you’d like this community to be active and available upon creation, select Activate in the lower-left corner.
- Note: At any point, you can mark this community as inactive by selecting Deactivate in the lower-left corner.

Mark a Talent Community as inactive/active
By default, a new Talent Community will be Inactive, but you can enable this upon creation to use it right away. When you are no longer utilizing a Talent Community or re-enabling it for additional use, you can disable or enable, respectively, the community to accommodate for your needs.
- Select the preferred Talent Community from the list view.
- When the Talent Community opens, select Activate or Deactivate in the lower-left corner, depending on the preferred status.
Changes will be saved automatically.
Inactive vs. active logic
Inactive:
- By default, the community will be not be active. This means that it will be closed for entry for all new candidates. When inactive, the community will not appear as a selectable option in the Community of Interest question nor will it appear as a selectable option in the Talent Community workflow movement.
- Any candidates already in a community before it is deactivated will remain in that community and their experience in it will continue undisrupted. The action of deactivating a community will only affect future candidates by preventing them from joining that community.
Active:
- When activated, the talent community will be open for all candidates to join. It will appear as a selectable option in both the Community of Interest question and in the Talent Community Workflow movement.
