Updating WhatsApp messages in workflows Request a survey Candidate experience

When WhatsApp is enabled in Client Setup, it can be used within workflows as an additional communication method when sending out information.

    Updating WhatsApp messages in workflows

Users with full access to the Workflows permission can complete the below steps.

    1. Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
    2. From the Settings page, select Workflows under the Automation section.
    3. Open the preferred workflow.
    4. Select + Add Task.
    5. Enter in a task name.
    6. Select + Add Trigger, select Candidate Status Updated in the menu that opens, and then select the desired status.
    7. Click the plus icon underneath the Start Point and select Send Communication.
    8. When the Send Communication box displays, navigate to the WhatsApp tab.
    9. Select the Select a whatsapp template selector and either choose from the menu that opens or search for a specific template.
    10. Save the task.
    11. Publish the workflow.

    Request a survey

If you are wanting to send a survey to a candidate via WhatsApp, users with full access to the Workflows permission can do so by completing the process below.

    1. Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
    2. From the Settings page, select Workflows under the Automation section.
    3. Open the preferred workflow.
    4. Select + Add Task.
    5. Enter in a task name.
    6. Select + Add Trigger, then Candidate Status Updated in the menu that opens, and then Surveys: Send Survey.
    7. The Request Survey box will display. Select a survey from this heading.
    8. Once a survey is selected, you will find that the WhatsApp tab will list a default, read-only copy regarding the candidate wanting to share their feedback. This is a pre-approved WhatsApp template that allows candidates to provide their consent to receiving WhatsApp messages.
    9. Save the task.
    10. Publish the workflow.

    Candidate experience

The candidate will receive the pre-approved WhatsApp message. Depending on the candidate’s response, their experience will differ:

    • Yes/Opt-In – The first question of the survey will be initiated.
    • No/Opt-Out – Your AI Assistant will respond with, “Anything else I can help you with?”
