The integration between Paradox and Workday involves multiple smaller integrations that will be built within both Workday and Paradox. Most common solutions will involve integrations requiring the creation of custom reports enabled as web services, Workday Studio integration(s), and providing Paradox API access to Workday.

Job Search

The customer's AI Assistant can instantly match jobs to each candidate's location or the keywords they use in a conversation — directly in chat, on their phone or desktop.

• Integration: Paradox will, on a defined cadence, ingest a custom report from Workday to refresh the data within Paradox’s platform.

Chat to Apply (Apply)

Apply allows for customers to collect candidate personal information through various channels (career site widget, landing page, WeChat, SMS, WhatsApp, etc) for a quick apply option, candidates to join talent networks, and for getting interested candidates in the door efficiently. Our NLP engine will recognize valid data and respond to candidate questions throughout the Apply process. 

• Integration: 
  • Requires the Job Search Integration.
  • Customer will need to provide questionnaire data for requisitions that are in scope for Chat to Apply.
  • Paradox will, upon the candidate completing a conversation, make a Put Candidate request to Workday to create the candidate and application for a specific requisition.

Scheduling

Paradox Scheduling allows TA teams to focus more time on candidate interaction and less time setting up interviews. The customer's AI Assistant will reach out the the candidate and handle coordinating the date and time of the interview. Once confirmed, the candidate and interviewer will receive their calendar invitation and reminders for the interview.

• Integration: 
  • Once a candidate is moved forward in Workday to a new stage/status, an integration will send data from Workday to Paradox.
  • Paradox will then check calendar availability of the interviewers and present interview times to the candidate.
  • When the interview is scheduled, Paradox can send a status update and/or the interview details (date/time/interviewers) back to Workday for that candidate.

Status updates / Candidate communication

As a candidate's status is updated in Workday, the candidate’s status in Paradox can also be updated and communications can be sent out to the candidate. Alternatively, as an action happens in Paradox, say when an interview is complete, that status can be reflected back in Workday on that candidate.

  • If included as part of the customer's design/solution, Paradox can update the status in Workday when a status has been updated in Paradox.
  • Alternatively, Workday can send data to Paradox to update a status in Paradox when a status change occurs in Workday.

Additional available functionality 

• Browser extension – Embedding a browser extension into Workday allows an easy way for customers to reference candidate conversations or add a Workday candidate directly to the CEM. In addition to this, the candidate's status will display in Workday as a quick reference when reviewing candidates.
