Configuration Use parent level reporting Reports with account-specific configuration fields Reports without account-specific configuration fields FAQs The option to run a parent level report goes away whenever I select the Candidate Journey Details report. Why is this?

If you have more than one CEM account, you have the option to pull data across your collective accounts instead of run the same report in multiple instances.

    Configuration

Contact your CS Representative to enable parent level reporting for your account. Once enabled, only Company/Account Admins, Full User - Edit Everything, and Power Users have the option to use parent level reporting, if given access by your CS Representative.

    Use parent level reporting

When enabled for your user role, then you will see a Run reports across all brands/accounts? in the Type section of the Report Builder. Select this and then select the accounts that you want included in the report's results.

    • Note: For performance reasons, you can only select up to 20 accounts.

Once all accounts are selected for this report, then the rest of the report creation process remains the same.

The File Delivery Method defaults to Download Link since these consolidated files will typically be larger in size.

    Reports with account-specific configuration fields

If the report has dynamic fields/columns where one account might have 20 fields in a report and the other account has 21 fields in the same report, our process will put both files separately in a .zip file.

Since this feature allows a user to generate data outside of the specific account they’re currently logged in to, visibility restrictions will be placed on who can see reports in the Active, Paused, and One-Time lists in the Analytics & Reporting page. Users can only see these parent level reports if they have the permission granted for their user role and they have matching account visibility.

    Possible Scenario

Account ABC, Account XYZ, and Account DEF belong to the same parent account ID. User John Smith has a Company Admin user role on Account ABC and Account XYZ, but not on Account DEF. This means that when this user runs a parent level report, they can only select those two accounts when enabling parent level reporting for a report.

Next, a Paradox Admin sets up a parent level report across all three accounts and sets it on a weekly schedule. Because John Smith doesn’t have access to Account DEF, that report history row will not show to them.

    Reports without account-specific configuration fields

For the reports that do not have any configuration-specific fields, the system will merge the results of each account into a single file and include account data in the first few columns. An example of this would be the following columns added to the the Conversation Detail report:

    • Company Account Name
    • Company Public Name
    • Company Brand Name

    FAQs

The option to run a parent level report goes away whenever I select the Candidate Journey Details report. Why is this?

This is working by design as the Candidate Journey Details report requires a single Candidate Journey to be selected as a filter before the report can be run. At the parent level option, the system will currently not have a way for the user to select that filter across the different accounts.
