Paradox has an enhanced job ID structure that is optional for our Conversational ATS clients. This one-time update improves scalability, data consistency, and job tracking. To ensure a smooth transition, we will work directly with you and your ad agencies/job boards to best prepare.

What’s changing?

The current job ID format is being replaced with a new structure that simplifies tracking and enhances job management. Specifically, on Paradox Job Feeds, the system will now be using the job ID in the reference number and requisition ID/job ID parameters.

Why this update?

The previous job ID structure presented challenges in job tracking, particularly outside of the Paradox platform. The new enhanced job ID:

• Provides unique and consistent identifiers for each job that can be displayed in the Paradox Platform and provided as the Req ID and Reference Number externally.
• Ensures better data integrity across platforms.
• Simplifies job ID reference for management.

Suggested migration strategy

To avoid disruptions, particularly with sponsored jobs, we recommend the following:

1. Assess Impact – Review with your agencies or job board contacts where the job ID is currently being used for sponsorship or targeting. 
   1. Indeed Coordination – Please connect with your Indeed Rep to strategize how to update your Indeed campaigns accordingly.
2. Paradox Migration Planning – Connect with your Client Success Manager to form a structured timeline to enable the new job ID format while minimizing operational impact. We encourage you to review this plan with any agencies or Indeed Reps impacted.
