Utilize the Lookup Tables feature Step #1: Update user permissions Step #2: Create Lookup Tables Step #3: Add Lookup Tables to Job Data Packages

In order to use Lookup Tables in your account, follow the steps outlined in this guide.

    Utilize the Lookup Tables feature

This feature is enabled by default. Follow the steps below to utilize this feature.

    Step #1: Update user permissions

Users will need access the Lookup Tables page via the Lookup Tables permission in Roles and Permissions. By default, Paradox Admins, Company/Account Admins, and Franchise Owners will have full access to this permission while Full User - Edit Everythings and Power Users will have view access. Ensure that the right users have either view or full access in order to see or manage Lookup Tables, respectively.

Users with full access to the Roles and Permissions permission can complete the below steps.

    1. Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from the drop-down menu.
    2. From the Settings page, select Roles and Permissions under the Permissions section.
    3. From the left panel of the Roles and Permissions page, select Roles and Permissions.
    4. Find the preferred user role and select its action menu, or ellipses, and then Edit from its drop-down menu.
    5. For the Lookup Tables permission, grant this user one of the below access levels:
      • Full Access – This allows users with this user role access to create and manage Lookup Tables.
      • View Access – This allows users with this user role access to view Lookup Tables.
    6. Select Save in the upper-right corner above the permissions grid.
    7. Select the back arrow icon next to the user role's title and then repeat steps #4-6 for all necessary user roles.

    Step #2: Create Lookup Tables

Users with full access to the Lookup Tables permission can create all necessary Lookup Tables. Learn about this process here.

Users with full access to the Job Data Packages permission can then add Lookup Tables to Job Data Packages. Learn about this process here.
