    Custom Job Attributes

    Default Custom Job Attributes

The following Job Attributes are automatically included in each account.

Attribute Name Key Name Description Notes
Job Added to Hiring Event job_added_to_hiring_event The value assigned to a job when the job is added to an upcoming hiring event. This attribute cannot be imported from Data Feeds when the Hiring Event toggle is OFF.
Sponsor Job sponsor_job Defines a job's sponsorship status. Additional Information here.

    Custom Attributes created manually

To create a custom attribute manually, follow the directions defined here.

Custom Attributes created from job feed

Any custom fields listed in a Job Feed will be automatically created as a Custom Job Attribute in the client’s account and mapped to its corresponding field value. Custom Job Attribute keys will have a prefix of “cf_” to signify that it was created from a Job Feed. For example, if a feed has a custom field with the key name “Employee Group,” the system will create a Job Attribute with the name “Employee Group” and a key “cf_employee_group.”

When a user opens the Job in Data Feeds, they will be able to view the custom fields created in the job details.

Note: Attribute Key Names cannot contain spaces. This will cause an error when pulling in that information.

    Live and applied Job Attributes

In the Job Management section of Client Setup, you can configure settings around the job attribute sources for Forms and Offers, if they are enabled in the account.

After selecting the Edit button, you can multi-select your job attribute sources for each feature from the following list:

    • Live Job Attributes – This references the most up-to-date value for the job.
    • Applied Job Attributes – This references the values at the time that the candidate applies and is a static number.

You can then reference the job attribute sources in the following areas of the system:

    • Forms
      • Tokens
      • Targeting
    • Offers
      • Approvals Targeting
      • Section Targeting
      • Tokens
      • Pay Rate Validation
      • Offers Drawer

Currently, this is only available for Forms and Offers. Other features using job attributes in the system will be updated accordingly in upcoming releases.

    Job Attribute Targeting

Both Standard and Custom Job Attributes can be used as a targeting rule in the following system areas:

    • Journey Targeting
    • Feed Manager
    • Job Search Parameters (Web Management, Phone Numbers, Client Setup)
      • Note: The Job Posting Type attribute supports multiple selected values for flexible targeting.
    • Chat to Apply Configuration
    • Candidate Summary Builder
    • Job Search Results Builder
    • Workflow
    • Custom Conversation Conditions
    • Offers
    • Forms
