    Configuration Begin an impersonation session End an impersonation session

    A setting within Roles and Permissions allows users to impersonate other user roles in the system. While a beneficial permission that allows users the option to assist in troubleshooting experiences that arise, this permission is limited to only certain users.


    Configuration

    Contact your CS Representative to discuss the user roles that need this experience enabled.


    Begin an impersonation session

    To impersonate another user, you must first have access to impersonate their user role. Once approved, then complete the steps below to begin impersonating that user.

    1. Select your avatar icon in the top right corner of the page.
    2. In the menu that opens, select your name.


       
    3. A new page of the drawer will open with a list of employees that you can impersonate. Select the preferred user.


       

    All CEM pages that are currently open will refresh to this user's experience. You will then be able to proxy the user and view the system as they do.


    End an impersonation session

    When you are finished impersonating a user, you will repeat many similar steps to those that you completed when starting the session.

    1. Select your avatar icon in the top right corner of the page.
    2. In the menu that opens, select your name.


       
    3. A new page of the drawer will open with a list of employees that you can impersonate. Select your name from this list.

    The impersonation session will then end and all CEM pages that are currently open will be refreshed to display your experience.
