Table of Contents
The Dynamic Content feature allows you to include videos, blog posts, news, and more on your career site to provide prospective candidates more information about your company. This guide explains how to configure this feature for your account.
Configuration
In order to configure this feature, you must also be utilizing Candidate Q&A, Job Search, and AI Resume Match.
Ensure that Candidate Q&A topics have five content pieces (image/video/hyperlink) tied to them.
- Note: Inline doesn’t require five. Overlay requires five.
Step #1: Enable Client Setup settings
Users with full access to Client Setup will be able to complete the below steps.
- Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
- When the Settings page opens, select Client Setup in the Paradox Tools section.
- Client Setup will then open. From the left panel, scroll down to and open the More section.
- Toggle on the Experience setting.
- Save the page.
Step #2: Customize the Brand Guide
Users with full access to Brand Management will be able to complete the below steps.
- Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
- When the Settings page opens, select Experience Management in the Platform section.
- The Brand Guide will automatically display when Experience Management opens. Add your company's logo, color palette, and fonts. These will be available when creating your inline or overlay template.
- Select the Unpublished status in the upper-right corner of the section.
- Select Publish.
Step #3: Customize the templates used
Stories UI
Stories UI for Inline Themes displays dynamic content (one content at a time) inline to the chat. You can customize the colors of these stories and select the arrow next to preview to view them.
To customize inline templates, follow the steps below.
- Within Experience Management, open the Inline Templates section from the left panel.
- Select + Add Template from the top right corner of this section.
- In the new page that opens, select the design theme you’d like to edit.
- Adjust the settings as needed in the Widget Detail, Content Titles, and Customization sections to best reflect your brand.
- Enter a name for the template.
- Select Create in the top right corner of this page.
Full Overlay Template
Overlay UI for Overlay Themes displays dynamic content (all within the collection) over the career site. Widget details are similar to what is used in standard widget customizations in Web Management.
Stories Overlay Theme vs. Full Screen Theme
- This is a dropdown in the Widget section in the Full Overlay theme.
- Stories show the content in a stories UI for quick access, but still full overlay.
- With full screen, the content takes over the entire screen without stories.
To create your full overlay template, follow the steps below.
- Open the Full Overlay Templates section of Experience Management.
- Select + Add Template in the top right corner of the page.
- A new page will open. Under the Widget section of your full overlay template, customize the colors, choose the placement, and edit other widget customizations.
- Open the Canvas tab.
- The Canvas tab is the background of the overlay. Adjust the opacity and blur to account for the content populating on top.
- Select the Welcome tab.
- The Welcome tab allows you to customize the first page that candidates will view after opening the widget. Make the necessary changes.
- Select Create or Save to finalize the template.
Step #4: Place your template on the widget
- Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
- When the Settings page opens, select Web Management in the Platform section.
- From the Widget Conversations section, open the widget you’d like to use the dynamic content template on.
- Scroll down to the Customization section.
- Select the appropriate template in the Design theme selector.
- Select Save & Finish.
You can test how your dynamic content looks by placing your widget on a landing site/page.
