    Create phone numbers

You can create phone numbers directly from Channels by selecting a use case, confirming regional availability, checking compliance, and provisioning.

This guide applies to SMS phone number provisioning only. It does not apply to accounts that use WhatsApp or email as their primary candidate communication channel.

    Create phone numbers

    1. Select All Apps in the upper-left corner of the header, and then select Settings.
    2. On the Settings page, select Channels under Platform.
    3. In the Channels left-pane, select A.I. Assistant Numbers and select All Numbers to view every phone number in your account.
    4. In the upper-right corner, select + Create Phone Numbers to open the slide-out drawer.
    5. From the Set Up step, enter the quantity for each phone number use case from the following options (with a maximum of five phone numbers per phone number use case, and a maximum of 10 phone numbers per set up):
      • Phone Numbers
      • Employee Communications
      • Referral
      • Event (if the product is enabled in the account)
      • Campaign and Outreach (if the product is enabled in the account)

    Important Notes:

    • You can provision up to 15 phone numbers per day and 30 total per account.
    • For Referral phone numbers, each quantity that you enter provisions two phone numbers (one on the candidate side and one on the employee side). For example, if you enter a quantity of two, Paradox provisions four phone numbers.
    • For Employee Communications phone numbers, you can only provision one phone number per account.
    • For Campaign and Outreach phone numbers, you can only provision one phone number per country. If Multi-Branding is enabled in the account, you can provision up to one phone number per brand per country.

    1. In the lower-right corner, select Next.
    2. From the Check Availability step, select the desired country from the dropdown.
      • Note: You can only select one country when creating a phone number.
    3. Enter the Area Code/Prefix as needed, depending on your country selection.
    4. Select Check Availability for Paradox to verify if the country supports two-way SMS.
      • If the country does not support 2-way SMS or isn't supported due to unique local requirements, select another country or contact your CS Representative for more information.
      • If there are no phone numbers available, select another country, reduce the quantity of phone numbers from the Set Up step, or contact your CS Representative for more information.
    5. When the availability is successful, in the lower-right corner, select Next.
    6. From the Compliance step, review each compliance requirement before numbers can be provisioned and resolve any requirements that show a warning icon or a Not Started or Review Pending status.
      • Some countries require an approved regulatory bundle before numbers can be provisioned. If a requirement is not approved, contact your CS Representative for more information.

For phone numbers configured in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico (+1 country codes), 10DLC A2P Registration must be approved before you can continue. If registration is incomplete or failed, select Go to 10DLC Registration to complete the phone number registration form.

Learn more about phone number registration form (10DLC).

    1. In the lower-right corner, select Provision.
    2. Review the successful provisioning message when provisioning completes.
      • Note: If selected numbers become unavailable during provisioning, Paradox displays a warning that the numbers haven't been purchased successfully. Retry or contact your CS Representative for support.
    3. In the lower-right corner, select Close to return to the Channels page.
