Users will not be able to create, view, and edit forms on the mobile app.
Build out offers that can be sent to your candidates.
Create an offer letter
To add an offer, follow the steps below.
- Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings in its drop-down menu.
- When the Settings page opens, select Offers under the Jobs section.
- Select the + Add offer button in the top right corner of the Offers page.
- The default offer template will then open. Enter a name for the offer letter.
- Update the offer letter to better reflect the information that you want to include in it. Include tokens by typing # and selecting a token from the list to pull in dynamic information based on the value for the candidate.
- Add components that the hiring team will need to fill out at the time of sending the offer. To add a component, leave your cursor in the place where you want a component added and then click that component’s Add button from the left panel. Available components include:

Start Date – This component must only be used for sending a candidate their start date. All other types of dates (orientation date, etc.) must use the Additional Date component.
- Note: This component will appear by default within the offer content, as this information is proven to be widely used within offers. It is important to note that this component already has the start date validation attached to it, which is why you must use it for this specific purpose only.

Starting Pay Rate – This component must only be used when wanting to send a candidate their starting pay rate. All other types of pay rates (orientation pay, etc.) must use the Additional Pay Rate component.
- Note: This component will appear by default within the offer content, as this information is proven to be widely used within offers. It is important to note that this component already has the starting pay rate validation attached to it, which is why you must use it for this specific purpose only.
- Additional Date – This component is used to add a date (other than the Start Date) to the offer that is specific to the candidate, such as the orientation date.
- Add Document – The purpose of this component is to send documents within the content of your offer. To attach a document, use the designated space to click or drag the file.
- Add Dropdown – The purpose of this component is to allow users to choose between the specified options given in the builder.
- Add Open Text – This component allows users to enter in any text at the time of offering to a candidate.
- Add Additional Pay Rate – This component is used to add a pay rate (other than the Starting Pay Rate) to the offer that is specific to the candidate, such as orientation pay.

Add Employee Lookup – This is used to configure the user value that should be stored as a System Attribute. Options include:
- Employee ID
- Employee Email
- Employee Name

Add Location Lookup – This is used to configure the Location Management value that should be stored as a System Attribute. Options include:
- Location ID
- Location Address
- Location Name
- Add Signature – This is used to require a candidate’s signature when signing their offer letter and/or a user’s signature when sending the offer letter.
- A drawer will open and populate to configure the component's details. In order to edit a component, simply click on the component’s tag:
- Label – In all drawers, the label field is the name of this component in the left-hand toolbar of the offer before sending it to a candidate.

Start Date
- Mark as Required – When enabled, this will be marked as a required field to complete before sending the offer.
- Validation – This component already has validation attached as a Future Date. This means, at the time of offering to a candidate, users can only select a future date for their start date. This cannot be edited.
- System Attribute – This component’s field mapping is already assigned the Start Date attribute. This cannot be edited, as this data will always be stored in the backend as the candidates starting date.

Starting Pay Rate
- Mark as Required – When enabled, this will be marked as a required field to complete before sending the offer.
- Currency – This dropdown field represents which currency the starting pay rate will be shown as to the candidate.
- Validation – This component already has validation attached as a Pay Rate. This cannot be edited.

System Attribute – This component’s field mapping is already assigned the Pay Rate attribute. This cannot be edited, as this data will always be stored in the backend as the candidates starting pay rate.

Add Additional Date
- Mark as Required – When enabled, this will be marked as a required field to complete before sending the offer.
- + Add Validation – This is meant for users to select the type of validation for this component. For example, if you choose Past Date, the hiring team can only select a date in the past here before sending the offer to a candidate.
- + Add Field Mapping – This section is for users to map this component to a System Attribute and/or Destination field.

Add Additional Pay Rate
- Mark as Required – When enabled, this will be marked as a required field to complete before sending the offer.
- Currency – This dropdown represents which currency this pay rate will be shown as to the candidate.
- Validation – This component already has validation attached as a Pay Rate. This cannot be edited.

Add Document
- Mark as Required – When enabled, this will be marked as a required field to complete before sending the offer.

Add a document – In order to attach a document, drag a file or click to browse in the designated area.
- Note: If you attach one offer to a drawer, all candidates that get sent that offer will receive that one document. If you attach multiple documents to the drawer, users must select one or more documents from those attached in the drawer.

Add Dropdown
- Mark as Required – When enabled, this will be marked as a required field to complete before sending the offer.
- Dropdown Options – This is where users will input the options for the dropdown.
- + Add Field Mapping – This section is for users to map this component to a System Attribute and/or Destination field.

Add Open Text
- Mark as Required – When enabled, this will be marked as a required field to complete before sending the offer.
- + Add Validation – This is meant for users to select the type of validation for this component. For example, if you choose Hyperlink here, the hiring team can only enter a valid hyperlink. If you choose Number, the hiring team can only enter in a numerical value at the time of offering to a candidate.
- + Add Field Mapping – This section is for users to map this component to a System Attribute and/or Destination field.

Add Location Lookup
- Mark as Required – When enabled, this will be marked as a required field to complete before sending the offer.

Assign Candidate’s Location – When enabled, this will assign the value selected in the location drop-down as the candidate’s job location in their Candidate Profile.
- Note: When enabled, the user will not be able to change the display option. It will be disabled and set to Available Job Locations Only.
- Display – This is where users can choose whether Available Job Locations Only or All Locations is selected. If Available Job Locations Only is selected, then only the locations associated with the job will be displayed in the drop-down.

Additional Fields:
- Validation – This is meant for users to select the type of validation for this component.
- + Add Field Mapping – This section is for users to map this component to a System Attribute and/or Destination field.

Add Signature (for both candidates and users)
- Mark as Required – When enabled, this will be marked as a required field to complete before sending the offer.

Signature Method – The manner in which a candidate/user can sign the offer. Options include:
- Draw (default)
- Type
- Both

Requirement – This will display only for candidate signatures and defines when a signature is required. Options include:
- Before Accepting and Declining
- Before Accepting

- Note: When added, this component will appear on its own line, meaning no text can be entered to the left or right of it.
- Once the letter is built the way you want, click Create in the top right corner of the page.

- Note: The Digital Consent copy presented to candidates and/or employees before signing can be updated, as needed. Please contact your CS Representative to adjust this language for you.
Remove components
All components can be deleted from the offer letter in one of three ways:
- Hover over the component’s tag in the offer letter and select on the trashcan icon.
- Select on the component’s tag and there will be a Delete button on the bottom left of the drawer. Select this button to remove the component from the offer letter.
- Place your cursor in front of the tag in the offer letter and hit Delete or Backspace on your keyboard.
Permissions
By default, only Paradox Admins can create and manage offer letters. All other users besides Basic/Limited Users can view and send offer letters. Please contact a user with full access to Roles and Permissions to adjust a user's access to Offers, if needed.
