With our new Microsoft Teams integration, your AI assistant can now send personalized scheduling messages, alerts, and reminders directly to recruiters and hiring managers in their preferred communication channel.

Configuration
Step #1: Connect Paradox from Microsoft Teams
You can connect Paradox from Microsoft Teams by following the steps below:
- As a Microsoft Teams Admin, navigate to the Apps section of Microsoft Teams.
- Search for Paradox to view our app listed in the Teams marketplace.
- Login to Paradox to establish the connection between Teams and your Paradox account.
Upon confirmation, you receive a welcome message and can begin receiving communications from your AI Assistant.
Once you are connected, a Paradox Admin can view the Microsoft Teams tile in the Connected Apps section of the Integration Center.
Step #2: Connect Microsoft Teams from Paradox
You can connect to Microsoft Teams by following the steps below:
- In the upper-left corner, select All Apps, and then select Integrations.
- From the left panel, navigate to the Connected Apps section.
- In the Connected Apps section, select Connect Microsoft Teams.
- In the Credential Settings modal, enter your client’s login credentials for Microsoft Teams.
Once connected, the Microsoft Teams tile shows the day that the app was connected and the user who initiated the connection. You are then able to update system area information tied to this integration.
Configure scheduling messages for Microsoft Teams
You can configure scheduling messages in Assistant Messaging.
- In the upper-left corner, select All Apps, and then select the Settings app.
- Select Assistant Messaging in the Platform section.

You can select the Connected Apps section of Assistant Messaging to open the Connected Apps slide-out drawer.
You are able to write a customizable Introduction Message that all employees receive when Microsoft Teams first connects with the Paradox Platform.
Interview Scheduling

You can select the Interview Scheduling section of Assistant Messaging to open the Interview Scheduling slide-out drawer.
In the Employees tab, you can customize the messages that employees are sent based on the following scheduling messages:
- Interview Confirmed
- Interview Canceled
- Employee Initiates Reschedule
- Candidate Initiates Reschedule
- Employee Declines Interview
- Employee Tentatively Accepts Interview
- Unresponsive Employee: In-Person Interview
- Unresponsive Employee: Phone Interview
- Unresponsive Employee: Virtual Interview
- Unresponsive Employee: Sequential Interview

Configure scheduling alerts for Microsoft Teams
You can configure scheduling messages in Assistant Messaging.
- In the upper-left corner, select All Apps, and then select the Settings app.
- Select Alert Management in the Preferences section.
- Navigate to the Scheduling section.
- Enter an employee’s name in the text box.
- Select the bell icon.
- In the dropdown menu, select MS Teams.
Any added employee then receives a notification in Microsoft Teams when a candidate schedules, reschedules, or cancels an interview.
Configure scheduling reminders for Microsoft Teams
- In the upper-left corner, select All Apps, and then select the Settings app.
- Select Assistant Reminders in the Automation section.
- Navigate to the Employee Reminders section.
- Select Scheduling Reminders.
- Select MS Teams in the Channel section.
- In the lower-right corner, select Save.

This ensures that scheduling reminders from your scheduling milestones are sent to your employees on Microsoft Teams.
Configure automated scheduling messages for Microsoft Teams

When the Workflow trigger is set to Scheduling Action and the action is Send Communication, you can click the three-dotted menu to add MS Teams as a channel. This allows you to send automated communications to a specific audience whenever a scheduling action occurs.
This option is only available when the Workflow audience is an Employee Role, Hiring Team Role, or Employee Type on Job (ATS).
