Configuration Additional Details in the Job Builder Required location error Edit Additional Details when turning on a job

The purpose of the Additional Details section in the Standard Location Job Builder is to have the ability to assign data, such as base pay, minimum age, and employment type, to a job. This allows you to get as granular as possible in assigning different data points on the location-level of a job, preventing you from building varieties of the same job in the CEM.

These data values can then be used in any communications using its attribute token.

    Configuration

If you have not created a job data package yet, click here to learn how to do so, as it is a prerequisite to assigning additional details to a job.

Additional Details in the Job Builder

    1. Select the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then Settings in its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Job Manager under the Jobs section.
    3. From the Jobs list, open the preferred category and then job.
    4. Ensure that at least one location is added to the job from the Overview section.
    5. Select + Add Details in the Additional Details subsection.
    6. In the Manage Job Data Package tab of the slide-out drawer that opens, select the desired job data package.
      • Note: This dropdown will show all packages that have been created in Job Data Packages.
    7. The job data will then display. Update these attribute values, if needed.
    8. Open the Permissions tab.
    9. For each attribute in the job data package, select the permission level you want users to have in My Jobs:
      • No Access (default)
      • View Access
      • Edit Access
    10. Select Save in the bottom right corner.
    11. On the Manage Job Data Package tab, select Save in the bottom right corner of the drawer.
    12. Publish the job.

    Required location error

This error will display due to one of the below reasons:

    1. You have an attribute that is marked as required to post but not editable in My Jobs and this attribute is missing a value for at least one location.
    2. You have an attribute that is marked as required to post and is editable in My Jobs, but the job is currently posted and this attribute is missing a value for at least one location.

Ensure to resolve the corresponding issue to save this job data package and publish the job.

Edit Additional Details when turning on a job

When you turn on a job and view the post job modal, an Additional Details section will display if the job data package can be edited in My Jobs. If available, you can update the job data if needed before posting the job.

    • Note: Some attributes may be required while others can be left blank if listed as optional, or without a red asterisk. If a list select attribute is listed and optional, then you can deselect all options to leave the value as blank.
