This October 13th release includes the following enhancements and features. These updates are subject to change until the day of the release.
The features in this release apply to your account based on your product packaging. Contact your CS Representative with any questions about use cases or account configuration.
Browser Extension
Clearer Browser Extension sign-in steps for SSO users

You can now sign in with Single Sign On (SSO) on a dedicated loading page. The new loading page walks you through the login process and tells you when it's safe to return to your Browser Extension.
Why it matters
Your Browser Extension users are less likely to close the tab early and lose a Browser Extension session.
What's new?
- A guided loading page during SSO login in the Browser Extension, with on-screen steps that tell the user to stay on the page until login is complete.
- A Launch the Extension button that users can select if the Browser Extension does not open automatically.
For more information about default registration closing times, see Browser Extension: Configuration guide.
Setup and activation ⚙️
What you need to do
No setup is required. This enhancement is automatically available to use.
User experience
To access:
- Navigate to the Browser Extension.
- On the Login page, select Sign in with SSO.
- Follow the instructions on the guided loading page.
Additional information and limitations
- Users must remain on the new login tab until the Browser Extension finishes loading. Once authenticated, the session will automatically sync across all other tabs.
- If the Browser Extension does not open automatically, users can initiate a session by selecting the Launch the Extension button or opening the Browser Extension from the browser toolbar on the new login tab.
Career Site Studio
Customize the job attribute in the job details URL
You can now work with your career site developer to choose which job ID attribute is used in the Job Details URL.
Why it matters
Your career site team sees fewer broken links and more consistent Google job indexing when public URLs match the job IDs your job boards expect. This is beneficial during ATS migrations, site relaunches, or when job feeds require a specific requisition format in the URL.
What's new?
- A new Job ID Attribute dropdown menu in the Code Editor to select which job attribute displays in career site job detail URLs.
- Support for an ATS requisition ID, Paradox Job ID, or another supported identifier your organization uses.
Setup and activation ⚙️
What you need to do
Setup is required. This enhancement is automatically available to configure.
User experience (career site developers)
Only users with full access to the Code Editor in the Site Studio can configure the Job ID attribute in the Job Details URL. If needed, contact your Company/Account Admin or CS Representative for assistance.
- Select the All Apps menu in the upper-left corner of the header and then Site Studio in its drop-down menu.
- Select the desired site.
- Select Edit Settings on the site dashboard.
- Using the left pane, navigate to the Jobs section.
- Under the Apply URL Destination section, use the dropdown menu to select the Job ID Attribute.
- In the upper-right corner, select Save.
If you don't change anything
Job Detail URLs function as they do today.
Additional information and limitations
- The Job ID Attribute drop-down menu is only selectable if the Apply URL Destination drop-down menu is set to Job Details.
- You must select an attribute that actually exists on the site's jobs. For example, you cannot use Paradox Job ID on customer-job-only sites.
- Ensure to verify the feed type and test a sample job before updating a live site. Selecting the wrong attribute will break job links, sitemaps, and SEO rankings.
Limit Google location suggestions to specific countries
You can now work with your career site team to limit Google location suggestion to specific countries.
Why it matters
Candidates spend less time on non-applicable locations on regional career sites.
What's new?
- A new Google Location Country Restriction dropdown menu in the Code Editor allows you to restrict Google Location suggestion to a maximum of five countries.
- Location suggestions for job search on your career site that better match your hiring regions.
Setup and activation ⚙️
What you need to do
Setup is required. This feature is automatically available to configure.
User experience (career site developers)
Only users with full access to the Code Editor in the Site Studio can configure the Google location country restriction. If needed, contact your Company/Account Admin or CS Representative for assistance.
- Select the All Apps menu in the upper-left corner of the header and then Site Studio in its drop-down menu.
- Select the desired site.
- Select Edit Code on the site dashboard.
- Using the left pane, select Components.
- Select the Jobs Search component.
- Under the Location Field selection, select Advanced Settings.
- Select a country using the Google Location Country Restriction dropdown menu. You can select up to five countries.
- In the lower-right corner, select Confirm.
- In the upper-right corner, select Save to ensure your site is saved.
If you don't change anything
If no countries are selected in the dropdown menu, all countries (worldwide) display in Google job search results.
Additional information and limitations
- This dropdown menu limits location suggestions as a candidate types in the search bar for jobs. It does not by itself filter which jobs display in search results.
- The Google Location Country Restriction dropdown menu can only be selected if the Type Ahead Source(s) dropdown menu is set to Google.
Channels
WhatsApp BSUID (Business Scoped User IDs)/username support in the CEM

You can now keep WhatsApp conversations linked to the correct candidate whether the message includes a phone number or only a BSUID (which stands for Business Scoped User ID, WhatsApp's new business-specific ID for the candidate that WhatsApp sends instead of a phone number in certain situations).
Why it matters
WhatsApp is rolling out an optional username feature for privacy purposes, which means candidates can hide their phone number from businesses. When a candidate opts in, WhatsApp may identify them by BSUID instead of a phone number in their messages.
With BSUID support in Paradox, your communications team keeps the candidate linked to their candidate conversation in the CEM.
What's new?
- Store a BSUID as a Standard Candidate Attribute when WhatsApp provides it.
- Match incoming messages and send outbound WhatsApp messages using a phone number, a BSUID, or both.
- Keep the same candidate linked to their conversation when they opt in to hide their phone number during an active conversation, as WhatsApp begins identifying them by BSUID instead of a phone number.
For more information about WhatsApp BSUID, see WhatsApp: General information, WhatsApp and the Candidate Inbox, and Candidate Attributes.
Setup and activation ⚙️
What you need to do
No setup is required. This enhancement is automatically available to use.
Additional information and limitations
- WhatsApp is rolling out the username feature by country on its own schedule. This means Paradox is ready before those changes affect your account. Learn more at this article.
- Conversations from the Conversation Builder with WhatsApp Supported enabled must include the Phone Number question. It cannot be removed or made optional. Paradox automatically adds it to existing WhatsApp-enabled conversations that do not already have it.
- A WhatsApp candidate can opt-in to hide their phone number at any time, so the same conversation may change from phone number to BSUID.
- When an inbound WhatsApp message from a candidate does not include the candidate's phone number (for example they hid their phone number with a username), the AI Assistant asks for the phone number in the conversation and verifies it matches the candidate's WhatsApp account (BSUID).
- This enhancement is not applicable to customers without WhatsApp enabled.
Franchise and public details included in the 10DLC Registration Form

You can now register franchise and public-company details on the Phone Number Registration page (10DLC Registration Form).
Why it matters
Your implementation team can reduce Failed or rejected 10DLC Registration Form submissions by capturing franchise and public-company information upfront instead of fixing registrations after failure or rejection.
What's new?
- Enable the This registration is for a franchise business toggle and fill out the Franchise Brand Name (Doing Business As)* field to capture franchise related details in the 10DLC Registration Form (through the Phone Number Registration page and in the A2P 10DLC Registrations section in Settings.
- Select Public in the Company Status dropdown menu and fill out the Stock Ticker and Stock Exchange fields in the 10DLC Registration Form (through the Phone Number Registration page and in the A2P 10DLC Registrations section in Settings.
- Sort by Last Updated on the A2P 10DLC Registrations list.
- Select View All Accounts on the A2P 10DLC Registrations list.
For more information about the franchise toggle in the 10DLC Registration Form, see Phone number registration form (10DLC).
Setup and activation ⚙️
What you need to do
Setup is required. This enhancement is automatically available to configure.
Only users with full access to the Phone Number Registration page can submit a 10DLC Registration Form. If needed, contact your Company/Account Admin or CS Representative for assistance.
Franchise accounts
- Follow the navigation and configuration instructions in the Phone number registration form (10DLC) article.
- In the Company Information section, enable the This registration is for a franchise toggle.
- Enter the Franchise Brand Name (Doing Business As)*.
- Ensure to save.
Public company accounts
- Follow the navigation and configuration instructions in the Phone number registration form (10DLC) article.
- In the Company Information section, select Public from the Company Status dropdown menu.
- Enter the Stock Ticker.
- Select the Stock Exchange using the dropdown menu.
- Ensure to save.
If you don't change anything
Approved campaigns already in market continue to operate; new or updated submissions follow the new validation rules.
Additional information and limitations
- Franchise campaign text can state which brand the franchisee operates under, which addresses common carrier rejections for missing franchise context.
- When you enable the This registration is for a franchise business and enter the Franchise Brand Name (Doing Business As) field, carriers receive the brand context they often require, which can reduce rejections for missing franchise information.
- This enhancement is not applicable to customers who don't text U.S. phone numbers or customers whose brands registrations are already approved. Additionally, this enhancement only affects brand registrations submitted after this release. Brand registrations that are currently at an In Progress status may still require manual handling.
Content Management System (CMS)
Customize application status text for the multi-application CheckStatus experience

You can now customize the status label that candidates see when they ask about their application status in the multi-application CheckStatus experience using optional Custom Content in the CheckStatus Configuration section in the CMS.
Why it matters
When the Candidate CheckStatus Experience toggle is enabled in your account, candidates with more than one application can verify their identity, choose an application, and see a status for that application (for example, Application In-Progress or Form Expired). Custom journey statuses were often displayed as Processing instead of the actual status name, which confused candidates. CheckStatus Configuration lets you override the label per status so you can align status messaging with your hiring workflows and how you talk to candidates.
What's new?
- A CheckStatus Configuration section under the Candidate Assistant Response section in the CMS, where you can select all your published candidate journeys in the account.
- A journey's CheckStatus Configuration page, where you can enter in optional Custom Content for each journey status to override the Default Content.
- View a preview of how the application card and status's custom content displays for candidates before you publish.
- Use management tools on a journey's CheckStatus Configuration page, like filtering by Stage or Default Content Type and mass editing/clearing statuses' custom content.
- A dedicated CheckStatus Configuration child permission under the Content Management System parent permission in Roles and Permissions, with Company/Account Admins defaulting to Full Access.
For more information about customizing default content for candidate-facing status labels, see CheckStatus Configuration (overview, configuration, and updating custom content).

- No Access: Users cannot view the CheckStatus Configuration page; the contents are hidden from their view.
User experience (Company/Account admins)
Only users with full access to the CheckStatus Configuration section in the CMS can configure the status display for the Candidate CheckStatus experience.. If needed, contact your Company/Account Admin or CS Representative for assistance.
- Select the All Apps menu in the upper-left corner of the header and then CMS in its drop-down menu.
- Using the left pane, select CheckStatus Configuration.
- Select the desired journey.
- Update the Custom Content column for each status as needed.
If you don't change anything
The CheckStatus experience continues to display the default content from the published journey to candidates.
Additional information and limitations
- The CheckStatus Configuration page shows the last published version of a journey. Unpublished journey edits in Journeys are not reflected until you publish the journey.
- Default and custom journey statuses still default to Processing until any Custom Content is published.
- The access defaults in Roles and Permissions: Company/Account Admins have Full Access, while other user roles default to View Access unless you adjust the permissions
Conversational Events and Campus
Additional default registration closure options
Pre-event registration

On-site registration

You can now select expanded default options when you choose the closing time for pre-event and on-site registration in the Event Builder.

What's new?
- Additional options to select from the Close Pre-Event Registration and Close On-Site Registration dropdown menus in the Event Builder, including but not limited to 1 day after the event, 2 days after the event, etc.

You can generate a comment using AI capabilities and edit the text before you confirm the commit, or describe changes in your own words.
Why it matters
Your integrations team can review integration changes faster at commit time without writing duplicate notes in the Integration Center.
What's new?
- From the Commit Request modal (when committing to an integration request version), type your own comment describing what changed in this version, or select Generate a Comment.
- View version comments in the Version History drawer.

- Custom Comment: Type your own description of the changes made in this version.
- Select Confirm.
Additional information and limitations
- Paradox generates comment text only when you select Generate a Comment on the commit or restore modal. Generated text describes what changed, but it doesn't explain why.
- The first commit on a new integration may produce a short summary if there is no prior committed version to compare against.
- Commits that are confirmed with an empty comment field do not store a comment on that version.
Job Management
Updates to Enhanced Job ID

You can now take advantage of updates to job IDs that simplify and improve how your job data is structured, tracked, and shared across your ecosystem:
- For accounts using Paradox Legacy job IDs, you can adopt Enhanced job IDs with career site providers, job boards, and agencies.
- For accounts already using Paradox Enhanced job IDs, Paradox stops changing an applicant's historical job ID when a job is updated.
No matter what, jobs move to the enhanced job ID format when you post them in My Jobs. Each applicant keeps the job ID from when they applied, in the CEM and in your reporting and analytics.
Why it matters
Turning on the Unique and Version Job ID toggle used to retroactively update job and candidate IDs, which disrupted historical tracking, reporting, and integrations. This release changes how that setting applies. Now, jobs move to the Enhanced job ID only the next time you post them in My Jobs, and existing records stay as they were until then.
Enhanced job IDs are shorter and easier for partners than legacy job IDs. Each ID has a stable core for the posting and a version that updates when the job is opened or closed, so you can tell a posting changed without losing the original job reference.
What's new?
- An Enhanced job ID format (
PX-XXXXX-X, for example P1-10862-5) that replaces the legacy format (PDX_XXX_XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), with a Core Job ID that identifies the job posting and a Version ID that updates when the job is reposted or reopened. - Updated logic for the Unique and Version Job ID toggle in Client Setup, so turning it on no longer retroactively updates historical job or candidate IDs. Jobs adopt the Enhanced job ID only when you repost them in My Jobs, and only candidates who apply after the repost receive the enhanced job ID format.
For more information about this new job ID format, see Enhanced job ID.
Setup and activation ⚙️
What you need to do
Setup is required depending on your account configuration. This enhancement is automatically applied to accounts.
For accounts using Paradox Legacy job IDs (Unique and Version ID toggle currently OFF)
Work with your CS Representative to:
- Identify where Job IDs are used today: Review your internal processes, reports, feeds, and integrations that reference Job IDs to understand where the ID is currently used and how the transition may affect the experience.
- Coordinate with your partners: Share this change with your external partners (agencies, career site provider, job boards like Indeed, etc.) so they can plan and implement any updates needed on their side. For example, agencies may need to make mapping updates to ensure jobs do not fall off from their connection.
- Align on your transition timeline: Work with your Paradox team to confirm a transition date that best fits your organization and partners, ahead of the automatic opt-in date.
For accounts already using Paradox Enhanced job IDs (Unique and Version ID toggle currently ON)
No setup is required. You can now count on a one-time, automatic restore of applicant Job IDs for candidates who applied before the Unique and Version Job ID toggle was first turned on in your account.
Additional information and limitations
- In a future release on December 8th, 2026 (for December's release, 2.6.9), Paradox plans to automatically enable the Unique and Version Job ID toggle for Conversational ATS accounts that do not have it enabled yet.
Standard job attribute for private jobs

You can now use the new Private Job (private_job) standard job attribute to see whether a Conversational ATS job is marked as private in your reporting and targeting.
Why it matters
Your team no longer needs a custom attribute to answer whether a job is private.
What's new?
- Private Job (
private_job), a standard job attribute in System Attributes. - Attribute values that mirror the job's configuration in the Job Builder: True when the job's Private toggle is on and False when the toggle is off.
For more information about the Private Job attribute, see Job Attributes.
Setup and activation ⚙️
What you need to do
No setup is required. This enhancement is automatically available to use.
Additional information and limitations
- If the Private Jobs toggle is not turned on in your account in the Job Manager Settings, the Private Job (
private_job) attribute still displays and returns as False (not a blank value).
Minor enhancements
Channels
- We've updated the Verification Code Primary Contact Method toggle in Client Setup so the setting is enabled by default for all accounts. Candidates receive two-factor authentication (2FA) codes through their primary contact method when this toggle is enabled.
Events and Campus
- We've updated the slide-out drawer for candidates registered or scheduled to hiring event interview sessions, superday hiring events, and orientation events so the Cancel and Reschedule buttons are visible without needing to expand the interview summary.
Paradox Analytics
- We've updated candidate survey reporting in Analytics and Reporting to the Candidate Surveys entity:
- A new Overall Survey Summary system-wide template is available when building reports.
- You can add Candidate Survey Responses: Satisfaction Point and Candidate Survey Responses: Is Excluded From Satisfaction as report fields.
- You can add Survey Value (1) through Survey Value (5), Unique Candidates Engaged, and Satisfaction Rate, Dissatisfaction Rate, and Neutral Rate as metrics.
- Rate metrics count only scored, rating-style answers. Open-ended and CMS-excluded questions are not counted.
- We've updated user survey reporting in Analytics and Reporting to the User Surveys entity to include candidate evaluation survey responses.
- We've updated reporting in Analytics and Reporting so you can report on the UUID candidate ID format.
Candidate Inbox
- We've updated Layout Settings for segments in the Candidate Inbox so you can save segment order and Home segment defaults without errors from users who no longer have access.
Content Management System (CMS)
- We've updated Content Quality Score in the CMS so your account score only drops for intents listed as flagged in Improve Score, persona intents no longer affect the score, and every user on the account sees the same score.
Knowledge Training Library
- The default access level for the Knowledge Training Library child permission (under the Content Management System > Candidate Assistant Responses child permission) is now set to full access for Company/Account Admins, matching current access level to other CMS features.
Paradox Assist
- The Olivia Assist toggle in the Olivia Assist section of Client Setup now defaults to automatically enabled for all new accounts. This update supports the transition from legacy Assist to Paradox Assist. Existing account configurations remain unaffected.
