Job posting process
Jobs are sent to and from ZipRecruiter via API instead of a job feed, allowing them to be posted within 30 minutes instead of an hour. Job data is sent on a per job basis, so if you turn on, update, or close a job, it'll take up to 30 mins for that job to be added to, updated on, or removed from ZipRecruiter, respectively.
ZipApply Candidate Profile creation
When a candidate applies via ZipApply, a Candidate Profile will be created for them. In addition to this, a milestone indicating that the candidate applied via ZipRecruiter and their screening questions and answers will display in the candidate’s conversation box for easy reference.
FAQs
Can you customize the information brought over?
This data cannot be altered as it currently meets requirements of ZipRecruiter.
Can you send job data externally?
This feed cannot be sent externally, as it is a master feed with many of your different jobs.
Does this job board support the Multilingual feature?
Yes – this will follow the same logic we support in the Standard Job Feed. We will display a separate job for each language that is translated and append the language code to the Apply URL and referencenumber nodes.
What countries does the Standard ZipRecruiter feed support?
US, CA
What happens if the same job is sent to ZipRecruiter from more than one source? (i.e. from our organic job distribution + advertising agency)
If they are the exact same posting with identical info, then it’s highly likely the organic job will be suppressed until the paid job runs out of budget. They do give a slight ranking boost to ZipApply jobs, but that’s usually not enough to win out over a paid job. Meaning, they will give organic Paradox ZipApply jobs a ranking boost, but probably not enough to get it prioritized over the same paid job. With that being said, they will handle the de-duping from our end, so it is okay to send over duplicated jobs.
Is this more of a guaranteed partnership where jobs will actually post to the job board like they do for Indeed and clients can reach out to ZipRecruiter to sponsor?
ZipRecruiter does have a self-service portal for the process of creating an account, however, they don't have any similar self-service options for connecting jobs from a partner ATS's feed to that account. This process would be managed through a consultation with the customer's account manager. If they haven't yet been assigned an account manager, they can call their support folks at 877-252-1062 or email support@ziprecruiter.com and have their jobs imported to their account from the feed we provided and then eventually pull jobs and enable the integration.
