Connect your Facebook Messenger Candidate experience

You are able to integrate your company's Facebook account with Paradox so that you can source candidates from Facebook and use Apply conversations to gather their information.

It is important to note that while your AI Assistant can communicate with candidates via your company's Facebook Messenger app, the conversation must be initiated by the candidate.

The Messenger Platform has several different types of messages you can send. Each message type has different policies and guidelines for what types of content and under what conditions they can be sent. Click here for more information.

    Connect your Facebook Messenger

To connect your Facebook account, complete the steps below.

    1. Navigate to Web Management.
    2. Select Facebook Page from the left panel.
    3. Click + Create New Facebook Page from the top right corner of this list.
    4. Click Continue with Facebook.
    5. Log in to your company's Facebook account.
    6. Once linked, the account will appear connected. Edit the conversation associated with this account.

    Yearly Disconnect:

Facebook may disconnect each year unless you go into the CEM and disconnect and then again reconnect your account manually before the 1 year mark. This is a Facebook timeout policy in their core logic with the API integration.

    Candidate experience

For Facebook Messenger, the AI Assistant and their first message will display on the Facebook page it’s connected to. Candidates can then initiate a conversation with your AI Assistant.
