Referrals, or the Employee Referral Program (ERP), allow your teams to acquire top tier talent all through employee engagement and sourcing. With this feature, employees can refer qualified candidates to your AI Assistant either via SMS or through a landing page widget that's accessible via email.

    Configuration

Contact your CS Representative to configure this feature for you.

    Employee experience

When an employee navigates to the Employee Referral site or initiates a conversation with your AI Assistant around a referral, your AI Assistant will begin their conversation in asking relevant details about the candidate. This includes their name and their email and/or employee ID if enabled as a part of the ERP settings.

Your AI Assistant will then ask questions around the person that the employee is referring, including their name, contact information, and the reason the individual may be a good fit. The conversation will then close with your AI Assistant mentioning that they will reach out to the referred candidate and then include a survey, depending on if enabled.

    Candidate experience

Candidates cannot type new on the ERP candidate site to begin a new conversation. Rather, they will need to click the new conversation option from the email that they receive.

When an employee refers a potential candidate, your AI Assistant will connect with that individual within the predetermined time frame set on the backend. During this conversation, your AI Assistant will complete the conversation set for a referred employee.

If a potential candidate messages your AI Assistant via the candidate referral phone number, then your AI Assistant will complete the conversation set for that phone number.

Candidates who complete their conversation with your AI Assistant will then be listed within the Candidate Inbox with a star ⭐️ next to their name in the left panel.

Multi-Application Logic: If a candidate already applied for a job that they were referred to by an employee, then your AI Assistant will send the following message:

    • Your AI Assistant to the employee: "Looks like {candidate_firstname} has already applied to that position. Would you like to refer them to a different position?"
    • Your AI Assistant to the candidate:
      • If the candidate has applied to the job successfully: "Hello {candidate_firstname}. Thank you for your recent application for {job_title}. It looks like you have already applied to {job_title} in the past. I can help you apply for another position if you're interested. How else may I assist you?"
      • If the candidate has not completed the application yet: "It looks like you already have an application started. Do you want to complete this application?"
