General information Purpose of Profile-Level Attributes Default Profile-Level Attributes Add a Profile-Level Attribute Remove Profile-Level Attributes Auto-populate attribute values in forms

Only Paradox Admins/System Implementors can create and manage profile-level attributes.

Candidate Attributes can be promoted to a profile-level attribute, in which they are stored as the top-level data saved for the candidate (i.e. their profile_id versus just the candidate_id).

    General information

Both Standard and Custom Candidate Attributes can be promoted to the top-tier attributes within the Candidate Profile.

A candidate icon will indicate which attributes are currently listed as a profile-level attribute.

Important Note: Any attributes mapped at the profile level will auto-populate in Forms to save time for returning candidates.

    Purpose of Profile-Level Attributes

Profile-level Attributes will be stored on a candidate’s profile ID, meaning any candidates/applications associated with the profile ID will have the same stored data on them, creating true profile-level data on the candidate and giving candidates a layer of data that is true to the candidate rather than only their application (i.e. the structure we have today, technically).

Profile data values will be updated each time a new candidate is associated with the profile and has updated values for that attribute AND at that lead_id level. The motivation for this is that if a candidate is providing updated information on a new application, then that is the most up-to-date and accurate information for the candidate and, therefore, should be stored on the profile.

    Default Profile-Level Attributes

As noted above in the Default Candidate Attributes list, the following are the default profile-level attributes.

All but those highlighted can be removed as a profile-level attribute.

    Add a Profile-Level Attribute

You can add profile-level attributes by completing the process below.

    1. Navigate to the preferred Candidate Attributes list.
    2. Hover over the preferred attribute.
    3. Click its action menu, or ellipses.
    4. Select + Add to Candidate Profile Data.

    5. A modal will open where you will confirm the addition of this attribute to the Candidate Profile.

Once confirmed, that attribute will have the candidate icon listed next to it and it will be added to the Candidate Profile.

    Remove Profile-Level Attributes

To remove a profile-level attribute from the Candidate Profile, complete the steps below.

    1. Navigate to the preferred Candidate Attributes list.
    2. Hover over the preferred attribute.
    3. Click its action menu, or ellipses.
    4. Select Remove from Candidate Profile Data.

    5. A modal will open where you will confirm the removal of this attribute from the Candidate Profile.

Once confirmed, that attribute’s candidate icon will be removed from the Candidate Attributes list and the attribute itself will no longer be listed in the Candidate Profile.

    Auto-populate attribute values in forms

Attributes mapped at the profile level will pre-fill in forms to save returning candidates time when filling out a form.
