If you're a hiring manager or recruiter, the following updates will have an impact on your system processes and experience. It is important to note that this may differ depending on your account features and individual system access.
Contact your Company or Account Admin to receive supporting documentation around these updated processes.
View interaction dates in the overview tab

The Overview tab in the candidate profile is now your single source of truth for candidate engagement history. We've introduced three key dates to help you instantly assess a candidate's journey without digging through the full timeline:
- First Contact Date: This marks the very beginning of the candidate's relationship with your company—whether they applied, attended an event, or were reached out to via a campaign.
- Last Heard From: This is the most crucial date, showing the last time the candidate took an active step, such as sending a message, filling out a form, or scheduling an interview.
- Last Contact Date: This captures the most recent communication, including any automated messages or workflows sent by the AI Assistant.
These new dates save you time and enable more informed decisions on when and how to engage with a candidate next.
Directly invite candidates to apply with the new apply invitation campaign
If you have access to jobs and Campaigns, you are able to now send the new Apply Invitation campaign type to your candidates. This new campaign type simplifies one of the most time-consuming recruiting tasks: converting targeted talent into active applicants. You no longer need to manually copy job links for mass outreach.
You can send a branded invitation directly to a targeted audience for up to 20 jobs at once. This personalized approach often leads to higher application rates. You can also select a specific brand and then choose only the active jobs you have access to.
To create an Apply Invitation campaign, follow the steps below:
- Fill out the Channel & Audience and Associate to event sections with the relevant details.
- In the Compose section of the campaign builder, select the Apply Invitation campaign type.
- In the Jobs dropdown, easily choose the relevant active jobs. The maximum you can send in a single campaign is 20 jobs.
- Schedule your campaign.
When your candidate receives your campaign, they are able to directly select and apply for any jobs.

Once the campaign is sent, you are also able to view the Applied Percentage metric, which outlines the percentage of candidates who have completed at least one application for the jobs sent via this campaign.
Redesigned campaigns page and builder

Managing your outbound recruitment efforts is now faster and more intuitive with a completely reorganized Campaigns page.
The Campaigns page is now organized by clear status categories in the left-hand panel: Active, Processing, Scheduled, Drafts, and Paused. This allows you to immediately focus on campaigns that require your attention. For example, the Drafts tab will highlight any campaigns with channel conflicts in yellow, prompting you to correct them.

Using the three-dotted menu next to any campaign, you can quickly Duplicate a campaign (regardless of status), Pause/Resume an active one, or Reschedule a scheduled one—all without entering the full campaign builder.
For all Active campaigns, a visual performance bar is now included, allowing you to quickly gauge success based on overall delivery percentage.

You'll also notice that the Campaigns builder has a new design. All functionality remains the same, but it has a new modern, intuitive layout that matches the rest of our platform.
Overall, you'll save time managing your pipeline by instantly understanding a campaign's status and completing administrative tasks with fewer clicks.
Updated experience for users and candidates managing shift-based jobs
For jobs that require shift work, the shift management feature has been improved to streamline candidate screening and give you better visibility into what shifts candidates select.
User experience

In the candidate profile and candidate summary, if this is enabled for your account, you can now easily view and expand a section to see exactly what shifts the candidate selected for a specific job. This provides you with clearer, validated information about a candidate's work availability before you move them to the next hiring stage, avoiding scheduling conflicts later on.
Candidate experience

When the AI Assistant presents a list of advanced shifts for a job, candidates now see a clear option: I'm unavailable for any shifts above. This new option ensures that if a candidate's personal availability doesn't align with any of the listed advanced shifts, they can immediately move forward in the conversation.
Schedule sequential interviews for your hiring events
Scheduling complex interviews at hiring events is now simpler and faster. You can create multi-step interview sequences and quickly check candidates into all steps at once.
Sequential interviews are now integrated across hiring events. You can schedule them through the event builder set them up as a Registration Outcome, or schedule them manually in Career Fair Mode.
To schedule a sequential interview in the event builder, follow the steps below:
- In the Schedule section, use the calendar to select the time slot for your event session. In the slide-out that appears, choose the interview type:
- Scheduled Interviews (for In-Person events)
- Virtual Interviews (for Virtual events)
- Configure the basic details, including the Interview Name, Interview Type, Interviewer assignments, and the duration of each individual interview.
- In the Interview Details section, click + Add Interview. You can add up to a maximum of 8 interviews in a single sequence.
- For each added step, you can update the interview-specific details, such as the name (e.g., Step 1: Resume Review, Step 2: Technical Assessment) and assigning interviewers.
- Once your sequential interviews are added, you must specify the order in which candidates proceed by using the drop-down menu under Determine Scheduling Approach:
- Consecutive In-Order: The candidate must complete the interviews exactly as you have listed them (Step 1, then Step 2, then Step 3).
- Consecutive In Any Order: The interviews will be scheduled consecutively based on interviewer availability, but the specific order can be flexible (e.g., Step 3 could happen before Step 2).
- Fill out the rest of the steps in the event builder as needed.
Interviewers receive a separate notification and calendar hold for each individual interview in the sequence they are assigned to.
The most significant event day time-saver is the new ability to use the Take Action button in the Candidate section of the event dashboard for mass check-in, specifically designed to handle sequential interviews.
To interview check-in and register candidates, follow the steps below:
- Manually select the check box(es) next to the candidate name(s) that you want to take a mass action on.
- Note: To select all candidates on the current page, select the check box next to the number of candidates above the list.
- Select the Take Action button that appears above the list.
- From the dropdown menu, select the required mass action:
- Interview Check-In: For checking candidates into scheduled interviews (sequential, individual, or both).
- Registration Check-In: For checking candidates into the event itself (registration).
-
Check-in to Both: For checking candidates into both their scheduled interviews and the event registration.
- A modal will appear. Follow the prompts based on the selected candidates' schedules and event type:
- Select Interviews: Manually select the check box(es) next to the interviews you want to check candidates into. By default, all available interviews are typically selected.
- Select Day(s): If the event is multi-day and you selected a registration check-in, you will also be prompted to select the day(s) you want the candidates checked-in for.
- Select the final action button (e.g., Check In) to complete the mass action.
These combined features streamline everything from event configuration to candidate flow and event day administration, ensuring you can process more candidates efficiently.
Expanded re-engagement for no availability candidates
Our scheduling logic is now significantly smarter and broader, ensuring great candidates don't fall out of your pipeline just because an interviewer's calendar was temporarily full.
Previously, the system's automatic re-engagement efforts skipped certain complex scheduling types. Now, the logic has been expanded.
Automatic re-engagement now applies to:
- Round Robin Groups (RRG)
- Panel Interviews
- Sequential Interviews
- All interviews scheduled via API, Conversation Builder, or Campaigns
If a candidate is moved to No Availability because no Open Interview Times or OITs were found, the system will automatically recheck the interviewers' calendars and attempt to reschedule the candidate every six hours. This drastically cuts down on the manual follow-up required by your team.
This enhancement automatically keeps your pipeline active, dramatically reducing the number of candidates stalled in the No Availability status and leading to a faster time-to-schedule.
Using the browser extension with Cornerstone OnDemand's new interface
If you use the browser extension and use Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) as your ATS, the browser extension now supports the new user interface, ensuring uninterrupted access to key scheduling and communication tools directly within your ATS.

The browser extension gives you two key actions right from the candidate management screen, so you don't have to switch tabs:
- Schedule with Paradox: For candidates in the CSOD Interview status, this button lets you immediately initiate the automated interview scheduling process.
- Chat Via Paradox: This opens a window to view the candidate’s full chat history with the AI Assistant.
You'll save time and maintain focus by managing interview scheduling and reviewing communication history directly in your ATS in this new interface.
