This November 18th release includes the following enhancements. These updates are subject to change until the day of the release.
Happy November! 🎉 We've been working on updates to help your teams hire faster and smarter.
Here's the latest feature releases and improvements.
AI Assistant
Updates to multilingual experience
You can now ensure a seamless, high-quality multilingual experience for your candidates. When candidates ask the AI assistant about speaking different languages, your AI assistant now responses with any client-customized responses in the CMS. This strengthens our platform's foundation by allowing your custom multilingual content to be delivered as intended, which increases conversation quality and builds greater trust in our global capabilities.

Role impact and feature activation
This impacts company/account admins or anybody who has Full Access to the CMS and manages multilingual content, as well as candidates who interact with your AI assistant.
This enhancement is automatically applied to our conversation logic. You may want to adjust your knowledge base to ensure any question related to languages is properly updated with your desired response.
Candidate Inbox
Redesign and segment visibility

You can now manage candidates with a more intuitive and modern Candidate Inbox design, no longer dealing with out-of-date designs.
We've done a comprehensive redesign of the Candidate Inbox to align with our updated design system and improve the overall user experience. Key enhancements include improved visibility for candidate segments and a more streamlined process for manually adding a candidate. This update works alongside the new tab structure recently introduced, making the Candidate Inbox more effective for your team.
All Candidate Inbox related documentation and screenshots have been updated to reflect the redesign.
Role impact and feature activation
All users that use the Candidate Inbox are affected by this enhancement by default.
This redesign and interface improvements are automatically available and applied to the Candidate Inbox.
Conversational CRM
Folder functionality in Talent Community

You can now organize your talent communities by creating and managing custom candidate folders, no longer needing to rely on complex segmentation or external tools like spreadsheets to manage your talent communities.
This new feature gives recruiters a simple, manual way to manage candidate lists for targeted sourcing and pipelining efforts. It helps reduce the need for work outside of the Paradox CRM, ensuring you have a "one-stop shop" for all your sourcing activities.

Contextual AI
Contextual Response Detail explainability

You can now have greater transparency and clarity into your AI assistant’s contextual responses, no longer being confused by technical jargon or irrelevant details when reviewing a conversation.
To increase user confidence and adoption of our Contextual Q&A functionality, we have redesigned the Contextualized Response Details drawer to align with explainable AI principles. You'll now be able to better understand why the AI rephrased certain candidate messages and matched content, reducing confusion and increasing trust by making the AI's decision-making more transparent.

Conversation Builder
New undo and redo functionality

You can now confidently build and manage custom conversations with new undo and redo functionality, no longer fearing that a simple mistake will delete your work and require you to rebuild entire conversation threads.
We've transformed the Conversation Builder into a more forgiving and safe environment by adding dedicated undo and redo buttons and supporting keyboard shortcuts. This feature allows both Paradox users and client administrators to quickly and easily reverse or reapply actions, boosting confidence and adoption for self-management, which ultimately saves time during your conversation building.

Events & Campus
Data capture compliance statement & GDPR in Kiosk Mode

You can now ensure global compliance by automatically presenting GDPR terms and custom compliance statements in Kiosk Mode, no longer facing the risk of non-compliance or legal exposure when holding events internationally.
To support your global expansion and accessibility goals, Kiosk Mode now automatically checks the student's or user's device IP address to determine if GDPR terms should be presented before form submission.
- Data Capture Compliance Statement: A required, highly visible message now appears, allowing you to customize the default legal copy and automatically translating it across all configured languages.
- GDPR Process: If terms are declined, the form progress is blocked, and the experience on a user's device automatically resets after 10 seconds. Accepting the terms generates a 'Terms Accepted' milestone in the candidate's conversation window.

Forms
Import and export functionality for forms and offers
You can now quickly and easily import and export entire forms, offers, and custom offer sections, no longer needing to manually reconfigure them across multiple environments or submit a service request for a mass action.
This update expands our existing internal import and export functionality for forms and offers to all users, saving you significant time during implementation, user testing, and mass action requests. This capability allows you to mass import forms and offers from staging to production, ensuring consistency and reducing the configuration time needed for your hiring process.

Configuration for signature confirmation and acceptance language

You can now configure the title text that introduces the perjury statement on fillable documents, no longer being forced to use hardcoded legal language that may not align with your compliance requirements.
This enhancement allows you to edit the default title text, which is displayed before a document can be submitted. This new level of configuration supports your legal preferences, addressing critical client use cases where terms like 'perjury' are not appropriate for their local jurisdiction. The configurable title can be set in the CMS or within a form document task, supports multilingual content, and is fully trackable in an audit log.

Redesign of user forms and hire details

You can now trust Hire Details as a single source of truth for candidate information, no longer having critical display text disappear from completed forms or needing to download files to read full candidate responses. This enhancement modernizes the front-end framework for forms and directly addresses critical client pain points.
All forms related documentation and screenshots have been updated to reflect the redesign.
Role impact and feature activation
This impacts hiring managers and recruiters who view completed forms in Hire Details, and any user or candidate that completes a form.
This redesign and improved functionality are automatically available.
Job Management
Enhanced job targeting capabilities for job search parameters
You can now target your job postings with greater flexibility using multiple values for the Job Posting Type attribute, no longer needing to rely on complex, time-consuming workarounds to control job visibility.
We've enhanced the job search parameter configuration to accommodate multiple selections for Job Posting Type (Internal, External, or External and Internal). This update is a significant step toward improving how we manage both internal and external jobs, making it easier to support your internal mobility goals and ensuring the correct jobs are visible on your career sites, conversational widgets, and AI phone numbers.
Role impact and feature activation
This impacts users who configure Job Search Parameters in Client Setup, AI Phone Numbers, and Career Sites.
This configuration option is automatically available in all objects that allow configuration of job search parameters.
Enhanced targeting capabilities in the candidate volume optimizer
You can now implement more precise and sophisticated targeting rules in the Candidate Volume Optimizer (CVO) builder by utilizing Location Attributes and Job Attributes, no longer needing to rely on limited attribute options that restrict your hiring strategies.
This enhancement expands the targeting capabilities of the CVO builder to include new categories of standard and custom location attributes and job attributes. This helps enterprise clients with complex organizational structures implement granular, location-based and job-specific rules. This update is part of our initiative to standardize targeting conditions across all Paradox products for better design structure.

Platform
System-wide terminology update from Care to Q&A
You will now see consistent and updated terminology for our messaging products across the platform, no longer needing to deal with confusing or inconsistent verbiage when referring to our conversational messaging tools.
To align our product with our current branding and eliminate user confusion, we have updated all in-product references to Candidate Care and Employee Care to Candidate Q&A and Employee Q&A, respectively. This enhancement ensures our nomenclature is consistent across all areas of the platform, making it easier for your teams to work.
All Q&A related documentation and screenshots have been updated to reflect the terminology update.
Role impact and feature activation
This feature impacts all users who utilize the Q&A functionality.
This is a system-wide terminology update that is automatically applied across the entire platform; no action is required from clients.
Security
reCAPTCHA protection for widgets

You can now enable an extra layer of protection on all embedded widgets to prevent abuse from malicious bots, no longer needing to worry about the security and cost risks associated with fraudulent bot activity and spam SMS requests on your career sites.
To keep your candidate experience safe and reliable, we've implemented system-wide support for invisible Google reCAPTCHA on all embedded widgets. Enabled by your CS Representative, this feature automatically protects your system from fraudulent SMS requests and bot abuse before a candidate is created, without disrupting the seamless candidate experience.
Role impact and feature activation
This feature impacts Super Admins and all users who manage embedded widgets. It also impacts candidates who interact with the widgets.
This feature is on by default. Please contact your CS Representative if you have any questions.
Candidate ID format update
You can now rely on an enhanced, secure, and unique identifier for all candidate records, no longer needing to use sequential numeric IDs that could potentially be exploited in security enumeration attacks. We have migrated core Candidate IDs from sequential Object IDs (OIDs) to non-sequential Universally Unique Identifiers (UUIDs). This critical update significantly strengthens our security posture, aligning with best practices for data protection.
Role impact and feature activation
This feature is primarily a backend security requirement. Please contact your CS Representative if you have any questions.
Depending on the Paradox products your company has purchased, not all of these updates may apply to you. If you have any questions or need further information, please reach out to your dedicated Paradox Client Success Manager.
Minor enhancements
Admin Tools
This enhancement improves the file decryption functionality within Plugins to correctly handle and successfully decrypt all XML files, resolving previous upload and decryption errors.
Alerts
This enhancement refines the Candidate Request Alerts logic to ensure consistent notification behavior. When a candidate sends "help" or "#assistant-name I need help" via web or SMS, the designated user is alerted via email, while the existing SMS unsubscribe logic remains intact for mobile users.
Approvals Engine
This enhancement improves Approvals Engine performance for offers by disabling sorting by offer name, displaying 999+ for item counts over 1,000, and removing the Early access tag.
Contextual AI
This enhancement redesigns the Contextualized Response Details drawer to improve explainability, user clarity, and trust by clarifying message hierarchy, removing the relevancy score, preventing the display of irrelevant content, and simplifying error/NLP fallback explanations.
Content Management System (CMS)
This enhancement adds an information icon next to file status upon failure, providing users with a descriptive tooltip containing both the error code and description of the error.
Data Feeds
This enhancement ensures accurate calculation of compensable time by automatically defaulting Connected Systems in Data Feeds to Detect by Employee Location in the backend for timezone handling.
Integrations
- This enhancement expands the Get Candidates API to support more granular search queries, including filtering by date and time, multiple location ID types, email, various job requisition IDs, and third-party identifiers
(ex_id). - This enhancement supports the nested education property within SuccessFactors Default Data configurations, aligning with existing support for
outsideWorkExperienceandcertificates. - This enhancement introduces a critical step in the UKG integration to check the candidate's application history. The system will now identify and stop candidates mid-conversation if they have already applied to the same requisition.
- This enhancement updates the Bulk Candidate API logic to prevent duplicate candidate records by relying on the
ex_idandjob_application_idfields to identify and update an existing candidate, regardless of the ex_source value.
Orientation Events
This enhancement updates the logic for displaying event location details and Google Maps in orientation event emails based on the recipient and the event type.
- Candidate Confirmation: Includes the candidate's location address and Google Maps image.
- Employee Notification (Managers, Ambassadors, & Location PoC): Displays the event’s name without the physical address or map.
- Employee Notification (Location Contact): Includes the location address and Google Maps image.
Location Calendars
The Edit Interview Details button has been removed from Action Needed emails sent to Location Calendars, as it is not relevant to location calendars. This change prevents a poor user experience caused by an irrelevant button.
Multilingual
This enhancement globally corrects the Bulgarian translation strings for Terms & Conditions to use the proper Bulgarian terminology and alphabet: View Terms is now Преглед условия, and Review terms before proceeding is now Моля прегледайте условията, преди да продължите.
Widgets
This enhancement improves the user experience within the conversation widget by preventing text from being unintentionally highlighted when a user selects the scroll bar to scroll up or down.
Workflows
This enhancement corrects the workflow logic to ensure the system correctly triggers the configured integration request before executing a candidate status change, resolving an issue where the request was being aborted during high traffic.
