Customize the multi-application experience and selector Option 1: Candidate reapply experience Option #2: Candidate reapply messages Option #3: Multi-Application selector within the Candidate Profile Selector preview FAQs

The multi-application selector lives within the Candidate Profile's Applications tab title. Selecting this title will open a drop-down listing of all applications tied to the candidate. This selector can be customized within the Candidate Summary Builder and further configured on the backend by your CS Representative.

Customize the multi-application experience and selector

Even though this feature is automatically available for your account, you can customize it in any of the below ways.

    Option 1: Candidate reapply experience

You can work with your CS Representative to customize the candidate's reapplication experience. This includes:

    • Verifying themselves via entering a verification code – You have the option to send verification codes to the candidate when they reapply. This setting’s options include:
      • No verification required (default)
      • Email address
      • Phone number
    • Time period until a candidate can reapply to the same job – This is the set number of days that a candidate has to wait until they reapply to the same job. Options include:
      • 0 days (default)
      • 30 days
      • 60 days
      • 90 days
      • 120 days
      • 150 days
      • 180 days
      • 210 days
      • 240 days
      • 270 days
      • 300 days
      • 330 days
      • 360 days

    Option #2: Candidate reapply messages

You can customize the default messages sent to candidates with the help of your CS Representative. Review these messages together and share any updated verbiage you'd like to include.

Option #3: Multi-Application selector within the Candidate Profile

Within the Candidate Summary Builder, users with access to this page can customize the information that is displayed when viewing other applications completed by the candidate.

    To customize this selector,

    1. Select the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then Settings in its drop-down list.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Candidate Summary Builder under the Platform section.
    3. The Candidate Summary Builder will then open. Select Application Selection in the left panel.
    4. On the new page, view the default fields that display in the application selector. You can edit fields by completing the following actions:
      1. Add Field – Select the Add Field text under the Edit Fields list to view a list of all available fields and then select the preferred field to add to this selector. A maximum of four fields can display within the application selector.
      2. Change field – Select the down arrow within an existing field to view a list of all available fields and select the field that should take the place of this field.
      3. Remove field – Select the trash can icon after the preferred field to remove it from the selector.
      4. Reorder fields – Select the Reorder button in order to reorganize the way the fields are displayed. A modal will open showing the current order of the sections. You can click on the rearrange (multi-dot) icon to the right of any field and drag it into a different placement. Select Save to apply the changes.
    5. Select Save in the top right corner of this page to apply the changes.

    Selector preview

The right side of the page will display a preview of the application selector and will update in real time as fields are added, removed, and reordered. This helps you determine the layout of the selector as you make changes.

    FAQs

What is the difference between Candidate Profile ID and Candidate ID?

Candidate Profile ID: This is the unique ID associated to the candidate when their information, such as full name, phone number, and/or email address, is verified. Each candidate can have only one profile ID but multiple candidate IDs. This ID is created on the backend and is not a forward-facing ID.

Candidate ID: This is the ID associated with a candidate as they begin the conversation. This ID is used for all integration purposes and is forward-facing (the 14 digit ID ‘7203685549XXXX’).

How does my AI Assistant send the verification code?

Your AI Assistant can send the verification code through email or phone number. The only time that your AI Assistant can skip sending a verification code is when they are able to still identify the returning candidate from an active conversation (a conversation that was had within 60 minutes).
