    Add content to the Media Library Add a document Permissions

    Any media size that exceeds 25MB will only be saved to the Media Library and cannot update content within an existing form.

     

    Content can be added to the Media Library from within the CMS and areas in the system where it lives. Once added, this media content can be included in conversations, Q&A responses, and more.


    Add content to the Media Library

    Users with full access to the Media Library permission can complete the steps below.

    1. Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then CMS from its drop-down menu.
    2. From the left panel of the CMS, open the Media Library.
    3. Select + Add Media in the upper-right corner of the section and then select whichever content type you want to add to the system. Options include:
      • Document (.pdf)
      • Hyperlink (URL)
        • Note: Only Google Drive links are supported as of .
      • Image/Gif (.jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif)
      • Video (.mp4, .mov, URL)
    4. A slide-out drawer will then open where you can name the content (max of 150 characters) and then either enter in a URL and/or upload the file that corresponds to the document.
      • Note: When uploading a URL, only Google Drive links are supported.
    5. Select Create in the bottom right corner of the drawer to add the content to the Media Library.

    Add a document

    Adding a document to the Media Library will prompt the Document Builder to open. Click here to learn more about adding a document via the Document Builder.

    In the list view for the Documents section of the Media Library, you can see the following columns:

    • Document Name – This is the name of the document.
    • Type – This is the type of document. The following is a list of the possible document types:
      • Document to Review
      • Fillable Document
      • Guided Document
    • Used In – This is a list of the areas that the document is currently being used in.
    • Status – This indicates the status of the document. The following is a list of the possible document statuses:
      • Published
      • Unpublished Changes
      • Draft
    • Date Uploaded – This is the date that the document was uploaded into the Media Library.

    Permissions

    Users with full access to the Media Library permission (under the Content Management System parent permission) can add and manage media files. By default, only Paradox Admins, Company/Account Admins, and Franchise Owners have full access to this permission.
