The Manual Candidate Mobility feature allows you to manually move candidates from one job to another without disrupting the candidate's journey or causing confusion for the candidate. This can be helpful for teams when a candidate applies to one job but is better suited for a different job.

    Configuration

This feature can be set up by following the steps outlined here.

    Reporting

The following legacy report can be utilized for this feature:

    • Candidate Mobility Details – This is listed under the Hire category and allows you to view the following data points:
      • Candidate Name
      • Current Job
      • Status
      • Previous Job Name
      • Previous Job ID
      • Job Movement Counter (the number of times the Candidate has been moved)

    Permissions

Users who have full access to the Edit > Move to Job Messaging permission will be able to utilize this feature.

    FAQs

Can I limit the statuses that the candidate can be moved to?

Yes! Through the next steps built out and/or through journey permissions.

Can you limit users from moving candidates to locations outside of their location without approval from the other hiring manager or recruiter?

We currently don’t have functionality to limit individual users from moving a candidate to specific roles or locations.

Is there a way that this can be done across multiple accounts for the same brand, assuming permissions have been agreed upon?

We currently do not support this, but we hope to enhance it in this way in the future!

If I move a candidate to a different job and my company is using the Number of Hires and/or Hiring Goal feature, will the candidate count towards that amount?

Yes! The candidate will be counted towards the threshold(s) set for the job if their status is tied to the status used for the feature.

Does this feature work with the Multilingual feature?

Partially – for now, the Move to Job drawer (when using Paradox Jobs) supports the Multilingual functionality, but aspects of the Invite to Apply drawer (when using External ATS Jobs) are not supported.

Can Unknown Candidates be moved to a job?

No, Unknown Candidates cannot be invited to apply to a job.

Can a user move a candidate to the Send Offer status of a job they don't have access to?

No, a user can only move a candidate to the Send Offer status of another job when they have access to both the existing job and the new job.
