Location Mapping: Ignore File Updates setting

The Ignore File Updates setting listed under the Location Email field of a location record can prevent updates to the location’s data during location file uploads or updates.
This setting is enabled or disabled depending on the following location management records:

Tentative Location Management Records
- By default, the Ignore File Updates setting is enabled once a tentative location is created.
- When a tentative location record is converted or merged into a formal location, the Ignore File Updates setting remains enabled for the newly formalized or merged location to prevent accidental overwrites.

Formal Location Management Records
- The Ignore File Updates setting is off by default for formal locations.
If a location file is imported that includes a location that has a Location ID identical to an existing tentative location in Location Management, the location will not process or be added.
