LinkedIn CRM Connect allows a two-way integration that syncs Candidate Profiles in Paradox (specifically the Talent Community page) to their LinkedIn profiles, further enriching the information recruiters are able to view at a glance.

    Use cases

    • Professional hiring teams who often “find” candidates that they want to engage via LinkedIn and who want to manage those interactions in Paradox.
    • Clients who want to sync existing candidates' LinkedIn profiles with their CEM profile.

    Limitations

    • Your AI Assistant will send an opt-in message to candidates that are created via LinkedIn.
    • The integration does not automatically refresh LinkedIn profiles that candidates update in LinkedIn.
    • Private communities are not synced with LinkedIn.
    • If a candidate email is not provided, Paradox will create a placeholder value.
    • Users can only view a candidate’s LinkedIn profile from the Talent Community page.

    Other considerations

    • Candidates created via LinkedIn will be assigned a UTM source of LinkedIn.
    • The integration will create any candidate who shared their information via InMail with a recruiter who has an active seat in the system.
    • Jobs/job information is not synced to LinkedIn through the integration.

    Configuration

Contact your CS Representative or your Company/Account Admin to enable this feature for you.

    LinkedIn experience

Once logged in to LinkedIn Recruiter, the user will be able to filter for Paradox within the In CRM filter to see all of the candidates whose information is currently stored in the CEM. From here, the user can complete an advanced search from the Advanced search button to find a specific candidate or view candidates in the filtered list.

Hovering over a candidate’s Activity text will show a quick look into the information stored within Paradox as well as a link to view their Candidate Profile in the CEM. Selecting View More will open a slide-out drawer where the user can view more information on the candidate, including their LinkedIn profile, talent pipelines, the stage and status of the candidate, resume, and an export summary, among others.

Adding a candidate to the CEM (exporting candidate data from LinkedIn)

Another way for a candidate’s information to be brought over to Paradox is by sending a message to the candidate. This process is noted in the following section.

If the user wants to bring candidate information over to the Paradox system, then they will have to export candidate information from LinkedIn Recruiter. To do this, they will need to follow the steps below.

    1. Filter the candidate list by adding Paradox to the In CRM filter.
    2. Open the profile of the candidate whose information you want to bring over to the CEM.
    3. From their profile, select the ellipses that displays next to the Save to project button and then select Export to CRM.

    4. An Export to your CRM modal will then open. Select the talent community that you want this candidate to be invited to from the CRM talent pipeline field.
    5. Enter the candidate’s email address in the Candidate email field.
    6. (Optional) Add any notes that you want included with the data brought over.
    7. Select Export.

A Candidate Profile will then be created for the candidate in the CEM, and the system will send a message asking them to opt in to communication and continue their conversation.

    Message a candidate

The user can send messages to candidates from their profile within LinkedIn Recruiter. In selecting the email icon next in their LinkedIn header, a Compose Message panel will open where the user can use AI-assisted messaging or use any saved templates.

If a message is sent to a candidate who currently is not added to the CEM, then a Candidate Profile will be automatically created for them.

    Searching for prospective candidates

When wanting to source fresh talent from LinkedIn, remove the Paradox filter by hovering over its pill and selecting the do not include icon that appears. This will exclude existing Paradox candidates from the list so that you only see prospective candidates.

    CEM experience

When viewing a Candidate Profile from the Talent Community page, a View LinkedIn button will display next to the candidate’s status.

The candidate’s LinkedIn profile will then display on a new page of the drawer where you can view their experiences, posts, and more. A Recruiting activities tab will also display under the candidate’s LinkedIn header that, when clicked, will display all InMail messages sent to the candidate.

In addition to this, users will be able to take the following actions from the candidate’s LinkedIn header:

    • Wrong person’s profile? – When selected, this will allow you to unlink the current profile and then search for and link the correct profile.
    • View profile in Recruiter – When clicked, this will open the candidate’s LinkedIn profile within LinkedIn Recruiter.
    • Save to CRM pipeline – This button will also display within the Check if your CRM has the latest profile box. From either button, you have the option to click Save to CRM pipeline to apply any changes made to the candidate’s LinkedIn profile to the profile displayed within the Paradox platform.
      • Note: If this button is grayed out, it means that the candidate has set security limitations on their LinkedIn profile to prevent a third party from having the ability to export their profile.
    • Send InMail – When clicked, this will open a drawer where the user can send the candidate a message from Paradox to LinkedIn messaging via the integration. The ability to use the AI auto-draft functionality as well as saved templates will be available to the user.

    LinkedIn CRM Connect information

LinkedIn CRM Connect data can be brought in and stored on the candidate’s profile by adding LinkedIn CRM Connect to the Candidate Summary. Contact an admin user to assist in updating the Candidate Summary from the Candidate Summary Builder.

    No Candidate Found error

An error will display if there is no candidate LinkedIn profile associated with the candidate ID. When this displays, the user can either select the Refresh the page button or can navigate to LinkedIn Recruiter and export the candidate’s information.
