Configuration Messaging a candidate FAQs What will the default be if both options are made available? The "Candidate does not know this message is coming from [AI Assistant's name]" banner is displaying. Why does it appear?

The designated conversation responder is the persona used to communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, which can be set to your AI Assistant, yourself, or both. Setting this persona is beneficial as it can help limit the number of phone numbers used to communicate with the candidate each time they are contacted by a recruiter.

    Configuration

Users with full access to Client Setup can complete the below steps.

    1. Select All Apps in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Client Setup under the Paradox Tools section.
      • Note: If you do not see this section or Client Setup, then you do not have access to this page. Please contact a Company/Account Admin for assistance.
    3. In Client Setup, open the Apply section.
    4. Click into the Allow Manually Responding to the Candidate as selector and choose one of the following personas to communicate with the candidate:
      • AI Assistant & Employee – This is the default option and will allow both the AI Assistant and the employee to communicate with candidates via the Conversation box of their Candidate Profile. If this selection is made, a dropdown arrow will be listed within the avatar of the chat box indicating whether the message is coming from the employee or the AI Assistant, per existing logic.
        • Note: Employees will need an employee phone number to communicate with candidates.
      • AI Assistant – This will display all communications as coming from the AI Assistant. The avatar icon listed next to the chat box will display the AI Assistant's avatar as a reference.
      • Employee – This will display all communications as coming from the employee. Employees will be able to utilize this feature as long as they have an employee phone number tied to their employee profile. The avatar icon listed next to the chat box will display the employee’s avatar as a reference.
    5. Ensure to save the selection made.

    Messaging a candidate

    FAQs

What will the default be if both options are made available?

It will always default to the AI Assistant when both options are available

The "Candidate does not know this message is coming from [AI Assistant's name]" banner is displaying. Why does it appear?

    1. The message won't be displayed for any candidates who are being interviewed or are scheduled for an interview.
    2. If a message to a candidate would be coming from a phone number the candidate hasn’t engaged with yet the banner should show up in the inbox as a nudge to the user to introduce themselves before randomly messaging them.
