Hot job designation My Jobs editing modal Job’s action menu Unable to designate hot job

When this feature is enabled for your account, any job can be designated as a hot job from the My Jobs page if the percentage of jobs listed as hot jobs has not been met yet.

    Hot job designation

Jobs that are marked as a hot job will have a Hot job pill listed within their job cards for easy reference. Hot jobs can be designated or removed from designation in two places in My Jobs. However, by default, a job will have its hot job designation removed when it is turned off.

    My Jobs editing modal

When turning a job on or editing an active job, a Hot Job setting will display under the Advanced section of the job posting modal. Toggle this on to designate this job as a hot job and then select Post Job.

Remove designation: You can easily remove this designation by clicking into the job, toggling the Hot Job setting off, and updating the job posting.

    Job’s action menu

Jobs that have already been posted can be marked as a hot job from their action menu, or ellipses. Simply select this menu icon and then Mark as Hot Job in its drop-down menu. The job will then be automatically designated as a hot job.

Remove designation: You can remove a job's hot job designation but leave it turned on by simply selecting the job’s action menu, or ellipses, and then Remove hot job Status from its drop-down menu.

    Unable to designate hot job

When an account has reached its limit for the number of jobs that can be marked as a hot job, then the Hot Job toggle will be disabled and a message will display, notifying the user that the percentage of jobs that can be marked as a hot job was reached. This can be seen in the following places in My Jobs:

    • Job's editing modal
    • Job's action menu
