The Overview section within the Event Builder is where you can enter in general event details. Users with full access to the Events permission can complete the below steps.
- Create an event by following the steps outlined here.
- The Event Builder will then open. Enter in the Public Name for the event. This is what candidates will see when they are invited to an event.
- If you have Multi-Branding enabled for your account, then select the Brand that is hosting the event.
- If you want to report on this event, select an Event Reporting Category.
- Note: Event Reporting Categories are created on the backend by your CS Representative and are used in reporting. Contact your CS Representative if you want to add additional Event Reporting Categories.
- For in-person events, enter in the physical address of the event in the Venue Location field and then enter the Venue Name.

Superday Event. A Superday Event toggle will display when Superday Events is enabled for your account. Turn on this toggle if you are building a Superday Hiring Event (an event with multi-round sessions and interviews), and then update the following details:
- How many candidates can be registered and scheduled to this Superday event?: Increase, decrease, or enter the number of candidates who can be registered and scheduled for the event. The maximum is 150.
- Campus event and then select the corresponding campus tied to it. Otherwise, continue to the next step.
- Campus Events. A Campus toggle will display when Campus is enabled for your account. Turn on this toggle if this is a Campus event and then select the corresponding campus tied to it. Otherwise, continue to the next step.
- Select the event occurrence and any additional details that are required based on your selection.
- Note: If Recurring is selected, then a Recurring Rules and Summary steps will display.
- Click Next in the top right corner of the page.
