Table of Contents
The Paradox App gives your employees direct access to their Employee Dashboard from their mobile devices. From here, they can easily access important communications, ask questions about their job, and connect with their managers.
Configuration
If Employee Dashboard is configured for your account, then the user will be able to log in via the Native App and access the dashboard. Users may need to authenticate themselves, which is determined by the Login Access setting for their assigned user role. Please contact your CS Representative if you are having issues attempting to log in to the Employee Dashboard.
Authentication and navigation
The native app greets you with a brief animation when it launches. Your sign-in process and the page you see depends on whether your user belongs to a user role that has or does not have login access.
Users with login access on
After you enter your unique ID (phone number, email, or Employee ID), you’ll be asked to enter your password. Once you're signed in, the app will open to your Employee Dashboard.
- Note: If your user role does not have permission to view the Employee Dashboard, the app opens to the Candidate Inbox.
Users with login access off
After you enter your unique ID (phone number, email, or Employee ID), the app sends you a verification code.
- If you signed in with an email or phone number, the verification code is sent directly to that contact method.
- If you signed in with an Employee ID and have more than one contact method on file, you can choose where the verification code is sent.
Once you enter the correct code, the app opens directly to your Employee Dashboard. If you enter an ID that doesn't match an existing account, you will be taken to the password screen to sign in.
Dashboard views by user role
The app's dashboard is designed to show you only the information you need, based on your role.
- If you are an employee who also has recruiting or management permissions, you can access the dashboard from the All Apps menu. From there, depending on your permissions, you will be able to see the Candidate Inbox, My Calendar, My Jobs, Events, Employee Apps, and Employee Dashboard.
- If you are an employee with no other permissions, you will only see the Employee Dashboard and your My Profile. The All Apps menu will not be visible to you.
- If you are impersonating another employee on the dashboard, you will not be able to complete tasks or interact with the AI Assistant chat.
Employee experience
This section provides an overview of how to use the app to manage your tasks and communications.
Actions from the Employee Dashboard
The Employee Dashboard is your central hub for all communications. From here, you can complete tasks, ask questions, and chat with your manager. The dashboard includes a Tasks section and a Chat with AI Assistant section.
- Note: The dashboard will display a personalized Happy Birthday message and confetti animation when a user's birthdate matches the current date.
Employee Tasks section
This section shows all of your pending communications that require a response. The dashboard highlights new tasks with a New tag and the date they were sent. When you have no tasks, the app will display a message with a simple empty state.
You can take the following actions with a task:
- Managing Tasks: When you select a task, it appears in the chat for you to complete.
- Pausing Tasks: You can pause a task by using the Finish Later button. The task will be marked as Paused on your dashboard. If you leave the chat by swiping down or navigating away, the task will be paused automatically.
Once a task is finished, it’s removed from your list and a confetti animation displays.
Important Notes:
- Communications that only contain Message content and sent via SMS will not appear as tasks on your dashboard.
- If a communication is archived, you will be notified that it is no longer available, whether you try to access it from a push notification or if you are already in the app.
Chat with AI Assistant section
The AI Assistant section is where you can interact with your AI Assistant. You can access this section by either sliding up from the bottom or selecting the Chat with AI Assistant button on a task. Messages sent from your manager will also display here. If you are currently working on another task, new messages are delayed until your task is paused or completed.
Using Employee Q&A
If this feature is configured for your account, then you can ask your AI Assistant questions about your work. If you have no pending tasks, the chat automatically opens to prompt you to ask a question.
Manager experience
Managers can now access the Employee Dashboard from the mobile app to complete communications they have been sent.
If Employee Q&A is configured in your account, managers with the right permissions can review questions from employees that triggered the Unknown Topic intent. From there, they can either select Dismiss to dismiss the question and make the card disappear or Review to open the employee's conversation and respond.
My Profile

When you select your avatar in the upper-right corner, you can view your My Profile page or Logout.
When you navigate to your profile, you can view your conversation history, employment details, and documents. You can also select the dropdown menu at the top to navigate to:
- Conversation: View the history of your chats with your AI Assistant.
- Conversation View Settings: Manage how your chat history is displayed. You can toggle your own messages, AI Assistant's messages, or both.
- About: View general information about your profile.
- Documents: Access any documents related to your profile or tasks.
Push notifications

The app sends push notifications for new communications and one-on-one messages from your manager sent as your AI assistant. Selecting a notification will take you directly to the relevant content on your Employee Dashboard.
