Table of Contents
Paradox's offers display dates in local formats, which eliminates confusion for global users and provides an intuitive experience for candidates and hiring managers outside the United States. However, the default format can be adjusted and is applicable within offers.
Configuration
Users with full access to Client Setup can complete the steps listed here to configure date formatting for offers.
Date formatting in offers
Offer Builder
In the Additional Fields section within certain offer component's slide-out drawer, you can configure the desired date format using the Date Format dropdown menu. This applies to the following offer components, which default to the date format set in Client Setup:
- Start Date
- Additional Start Date
- Employee Signature
- Candidate Signature
Sending offers
When you send an offer, the date formatting of the offer is based on what is set in the offer component’s date format. The date format is also visible under the offer component for clarity.
Candidate experience
After the candidate signs an offer, the date displays in the configured date format.
Using date tokens in offers
You can add any of the following date tokens to an offer:
- start-date
- orientation-date
- current-date
- candidate-hiredate
- offer_created_date
- offer_accepted_date
Notes on display logic:
- When you add a date token to an offer, it will be highlighted in yellow. You can select a token to view options for configuring its date format, allowing you to override the default if necessary.
- If you apply a new format, the token's text turns blue. The highlight disappears upon navigating away, but you can always click it again to change the format.
