Configuration Step #1: Enable Client Setup settings Step #2: Target jobs using targeting rules

Only Paradox Admins/System Implementors will be able to configure the Candidate Volume Optimizer (CVO) feature for an account.

    Configuration

Step #1: Enable Client Setup settings

    1. Select the All Apps menu in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Client Setup under the Paradox Tools section.
    3. Client Setup will then open. Open the Automation section.
    4. Toggle on Candidate Volume Optimizer.
    5. Save the page.

Step #2: Target jobs using targeting rules

Work with your client to target jobs that will utilize this feature from within the Candidate Volume Optimizer page. Any number of segments can be created in order to support your client's use of this feature.

    1. Select the All Apps button in the top left corner of the header and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
    2. When the Settings page opens, select Candidate Volume Optimizer in the Jobs section.
    3. The Candidate Volume Optimizer page will then open. Select + Create New Segment in the top right corner of the page.
    4. On the new page that opens, name your segment.
    5. Set your conditions based on the jobs you want to target. You can use the + AND and/or + OR buttons to make this targeting more complex.
      • Note: You can target based on both standard and custom Job Attributes.
    6. Click the # Jobs Targeted button in the right corner above your targeting rules to view the jobs that are targeted with the condition you set.
    7. Adjust the condition as needed to target only the most relevant jobs.
    8. Click Next in the top right corner of the page.
    9. Select + Add Status Threshold in the middle of the next page.
    10. A slide-out drawer will open where you can first select the status tied to the threshold amount. The statuses available in this drop-down will only be the ones that are present in all the targeted jobs' Journeys.
      • Notes:
        • The specific status selected here will be the status that your AI Assistant monitors for the count of candidates.
        • Custom stages cannot be used to configure this functionality.
    11. Enter in the number of candidates that you want to reach this stage before an action takes place. This can be any value from 1 to 1000. This is the number that your AI Assistant monitors to close the job/notify the recruiter.
      • Note: This field can be left empty if you want the Hiring Manager of a specific location to enter the values before they turn a job on.
    12. Select the action that you want to take place when the threshold is met for the selected status. Options include:
      • Olivia Will Turn the Job Off - This will turn the job off in My Jobs and send a notification to the employee.
      • Olivia Will Notify the Hiring Team - This will only notify the employee that the threshold has been reached, and they can determine whether to turn the job off or not.
    13. Select Save in the bottom right corner of the drawer.
    14. A warning modal will then display, stating that the requisitions targeted will inherit the status threshold you set when they are turned on. Select Continue to accept this change.
    15. Select Save & Publish in the top right corner of the page to finalize your targeting rules.
    16. Repeat this process for all necessary jobs.

Logic for Active Jobs: If you have jobs already toggled when this feature is enabled, the jobs that are already on will not have any impact. This functionality will be applied the next time that a job is turned on.
