Table of Contents
The Candidate objective of this feature is to allow you to build out a summary of key candidate information in a simplified and organized way. When targeting rules are set for these summaries, then specific information can be displayed for a candidate based on Job and/or Location Attributes, ensuring that only the most relevant information is displayed on the Candidate Profile for recruiters and hiring managers to see.

Candidate Summary section
The Candidate Summary section of the Candidate Summary Builder page is where you can create dynamic Candidate Summary cards that target specific Job and/or Location Attributes and will, in turn, display the corresponding information in each candidate’s profile. This ensures that the most relevant information is displayed for each candidate.
Candidate Summary lists
The Candidate Summary section includes four lists:
- All – This will include the default and dynamic Candidate Summary cards in the account.
- Active – This will include only the default and active/published dynamic Candidate Summary cards in the account.
- Drafts – This will include only the unpublished dynamic Candidate Summary cards created in the account.
- Inactive – This will include only the inactive and published dynamic Candidate Summary cards created in the account.
Candidate Summary list actions
From the All Candidate Summary list, you can complete the following actions:
- + Create New – When clicked from the top right corner of the section, this will open a new builder and allow you to create a summary card.
- Search Bar – Located in the top right corner of this section, this will search the list for the characters entered.
-
Summary's action menu – When hovering over a listed summary, its action menu, or ellipses, will display at the end of the row. When selected, a drop-down menu will open with the following available actions:
- Edit – This will open the Dynamic Candidate Summary builder and allow you to make changes.
- Deactivate – This will deactivate the Candidate Summary card, preventing the application of this Candidate Summary card for all candidates who are targeted. Existing targeted candidates will then have the default Candidate Summary card applied to their Candidate Profile. This action can be completed from the All and Active lists.
- Activate – This will activate the Candidate Summary card, allowing the application of this Candidate Summary card for all candidates who are targeted. This action can be completed from the All and Inactive lists.
- Delete – This will delete the corresponding dynamic Candidate Summary card. Existing targeted candidates will then have the default Candidate Summary card applied to their Candidate Profile. This action can be completed in any list.
Application Selection
The Application Selection section allows you to determine the information that displays when viewing all applications completed by the candidate. Click here to learn more about the Multi-Application feature.
Pinned files
Files can be pinned within the Files section of the Candidate Profile's Applications tab to ensure that they always display first for recruiters to see. Click here for more information on pinned files.
Profile-level attributes
Candidate Attributes can be promoted to a profile-level attribute, in which they are stored as the top-level data saved for the candidate. This ensures that the most important candidate information stored in attributes is easily viewed and accessible faster by your teams from the Candidate Profile.
By default, you will have to work with your CS Representative to set profile-level attributes for your account.
Select data source
If you're prompted to select a data source for your profile-level attributes, reference this document when making your selection.

What happens when my multi-branded account has Multi-branding disabled?
If Brand Name is included in the Candidate Summary when an account has the Multi-branding feature disabled, then this option will be removed from the Candidate Summary.
Why isn't the recruiter's name populating in the Candidate Summary?
The recruiter’s name will be displayed in the Candidate Profile and Candidate Summary. For Integrated ATS Jobs, the recruiter’s email will be displayed instead of the name. This is due to technical limitations and ongoing migration efforts to Integrated Jobs.
