Career Fair Mode allows all campus event attendees to streamline the experience of capturing candidate details and scheduling candidates for follow-up interviews. This mode can only be opened via mobile web and Native Apps and is available for active in-person campus events.
This is not supported on desktop or for past events.
Navigation

From the Event Dashboard, a new Career Fair Mode widget will display on mobile web and Native Apps. Click the Launch Career Fair Mode button to access this feature.

The landing page will then open where you can either search for a candidate or add a new candidate.
Search experience

When you click Search for Candidate from the landing page, a search bar will display where you can search for a registered candidate.

The system will auto-populate a list below this search bar when the entered characters match the candidate’s first or last name, email address, or phone number.

Click the candidate’s name to open their Candidate Summary and relevant event details.
Available actions

Events that include event registration can check in candidates via Career Fair Mode. Otherwise, this button will be hidden.

To check in a candidate, search for them within Career Fair Mode and then click Check-in within their Candidate Profile.
Add a candidate
Candidates manually added to an event will be automatically checked in to the event.

Once added, the candidate’s status will be updated to Registration Confirmed.

The candidate’s Candidate Summary will then be displayed.
Existing candidate logic
When adding a new candidate to the system through Career Fair Mode, their registration will go through a validation process.
- If already registered to an event, a modal will display with the candidate’s existing registration and a View Candidate Profile button will display, allowing the user to view the profile if needed.
- If not registered to an event but a profile was found in the CEM, then a Duplicate Candidate modal will display, allowing the user to merge the candidates.

Update a resume

You can easily update a resume by retaking the photo listed for the candidate’s resume. To do this, open the preferred Candidate’s Summary and then click View Resume. A new page will open where you can view the candidate’s current resume. Click Retake Resume Capture at the bottom of the screen to retake a photo of the candidate’s resume.
Updated photos will replace the resume within the Candidate’s profile in the CEM.
