Configuration Step #1: Enable this feature Step #2: Download the browser extension Open candidate chat Add the candidate to the CEM Candidate Not Found warning Candidate status button Workday embedded action FAQs The embedding won't work for me. How can we troubleshoot this issue?

If you utilize Workday as your ATS, the browser extension can be embedded into Workday as an easy way for you to reference candidate conversations or add a Workday candidate directly to the CEM. In addition to this, the candidate’s journey status will display in Workday as a quick reference while reviewing candidates.

    Configuration

    Step #1: Enable this feature

Contact your CS Representative to enable this feature for you.

Step #2: Download the browser extension

If you haven't downloaded the browser extension yet, then follow the steps here to ensure it is downloaded on your browser.

    Open candidate chat

When this feature is enabled for your account, you can open any candidate’s communication with your AI Assistant in the browser extension by selecting the Paradox icon/Open Chat listed in left panel of the Candidate Profile in Workday.

Add the candidate to the CEM

When adding a candidate via the browser extension, the name fields (First Name and Last Name) must contain only alphabetic (A-Z, a-z) characters. Non-alphabetic characters—including non-Latin scripts (such as Japanese, Chinese, etc.), numbers, and special characters (such as parentheses)—are not supported and will result in an error.

Note: This functionality will only be available when the setting for adding candidates in Workday is enabled for your account.

If a candidate listed in Workday does not exist in the CEM, then the extension modal will open to an Add Candidate screen where the candidate's details, as provided from Workday, will be displayed.

You should review these details and then select Add Candidate to add the candidate to the CEM.

    Candidate Not Found warning

If you receive a Candidate Not Found message after selecting the Paradox icon/Open Chat, then the browser extension will open to the Candidate Inbox. This is due to the fact that the ability to add a candidate from Workday is disabled.

Contact your manager if this capability was disabled in error.

    Candidate status button

The candidate’s journey status will be listed in the Active Job Applications (#) section for easy reference if the candidate exists in the CEM.

If the candidate does not exist in the CEM, then this status will be replaced with an Add Candidate to Paradox button that, when clicked, will open an Add Candidate screen in the browser extension. From here, you can add the candidate to the CEM.

    • Note: If the candidate’s status or an add button are not displayed, then this candidate does not exist in the CEM, and they cannot be added until this functionality is enabled.

    Workday embedded action

While working in Workday and viewing the candidate list, an embedded Paradox icon will display when you hover over a candidate’s name. Clicking this icon will open the candidate’s conversation with your AI Assistant in the browser extension. From there, you can reach out directly to the candidate without leaving Workday.

However, if the candidate does not exist in the CEM, then you will either be able to add the candidate or see the Candidate Not Found warning.

    FAQs

The embedding won't work for me. How can we troubleshoot this issue?
