Table of Contents
The browser extension’s homepage can provide insights to help recruiters keep track of their candidates' statuses and show which candidates require an action to be taken by the user.
Use Cases
- Recruiters who need to make sure they’re manually keeping track of their candidates without automated processes.
Configuration
Insights are automatically turned on for all system users. By default, Company/Account Admins will be able to determine which statuses show in the browser extension's insights from the Journeys page.
To include a status in the insights,
- Select the All Apps menu in the top left corner of the page and then Settings from its drop-down menu.
- From the Settings page, select Journeys under the Automation section.
- Open the preferred journey on the page that opens.
- From the left-most panel, select the stage that you want to view.
- When the stage's details open, select the preferred status to view the Highlight this step as Action Needed for employees setting.
- Enable this setting.
- Select the Action Needed Permission Settings button that displays.
- In the drawer that opens, click into the + Edit employee or Role selector to review the user roles who can view and take action on this status. Deselect/select the necessary roles, as needed.
- Select Apply.
- Select Save in the bottom right corner of the drawer.
- Select Save Changes in the upper-right corner of the status's section.
- Repeat steps #4-11 for all relevant statuses.
- When all changes are made, select Publish Journey in the bottom of the left-most panel.
The Capture Incomplete status will not be shown properly in the inbox since candidates in this status aren’t fully captured.
Insights on the homepage
When there are candidates in statuses that require an action to be taken, the user will see them on their extension's homepage. If there are no candidates whose statuses are marked as action needed, no insights will be shown.
