Browser extension: Cornerstone On Demand (CSOD) embedding
Table of Contents
The browser extension can be embedded into Cornerstone On Demand (CSOD) to provide teams with quick, in-context access to Paradox’s scheduling capabilities and candidate conversation history. By scraping candidate details from CSOD and linking them to the Paradox Candidate Inbox, recruiters can efficiently manage interview scheduling for candidates without ever switching contexts or closing tabs.
Use cases
All users except Basic/Limited users using the CEM and CSOD to manage candidates, who need to:
- Quickly schedule interviews for candidates currently in the CSOD Interview status.
- Access the candidate's chat history with the AI Assistant without leaving the CSOD candidate management screen.

Browser extension actions in Cornerstone On Demand
When the browser extension is enabled and you’re on Cornerstone On Demand’s Candidates list view, you can take the following actions:
- Schedule with Paradox – You can select this to schedule the candidate when the candidate is in the Interview status type for Cornerstone On Demand and they do not have an interview schedule. This takes you to the Schedule Interview page, where you can configure interview details.
- Chat Via Paradox – You can select this to chat with the candidate as the AI assistant or the user.
You cannot manually add a candidate in the Cornerstone On Demand browser extension embedding. Candidates can only be added to the CEM automatically when the user selects Schedule with Paradox for a new candidate.
If a candidate’s status changes in Cornerstone On Demand, the user needs to refresh the page to view the correct action button.
Cornerstone On Demand user interface
If preferred, you can disable the Beta Version toggle in the top upper-right corner of the Candidates list to access the legacy user interface. However, you can take the same actions regardless of whether you are using the legacy or new user interface.
