Use cases Configuration Basic/limited user experience

You can provide Basic/Limited Users login access to the CEM, ultimately eliminating the need for external landing pages and removing security concerns. This expands our offerings for Basic/Limited User system access.

    Use cases

    • Teams who want to provide all users more time in reviewing authorized documents.
    • Teams who want all of their users to enter the system, even with limited access.

    Configuration

Login access can be granted within Roles and Permissions by your CS Representative.

    Basic/limited user experience

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will be used to authenticate Basic/Limited Users when logging in to the CEM. When successfully logged in, their default landing page will be the one set in the Homepage selector in Roles and Permissions.

If Basic User Portal is not enabled for the account, login access is turned off for Basic/Limited Users, and/or there is not a homepage set, then a 404 page will display after attempting to login.

Single Sign On Logic: Basic/Limited Users are not forced to use Single Sign On (SSO) and can log in via MFA if they have login access. There is no validation logic that forces SSO for Basic/Limited Users.
